At restaurant
Third person's POV
Tanya and Abhay were sitting against each other and nobody uttered a word since the time they entered the place
"Okay... I can't play this game anymore" Tanya said while raising her hands in air as if surrendering
"Which game ?" Abhay asked her with confusion lacing his voice
"Oh.... We are sitting quietly as if we are playing a game who will stay quiet for more time.... Abhay don't be so awkward.... Just chill"Tanya said with a reassuring voice and after their little exchange the tension in the atmosphere seemed to reduce a bit
They reached Tanya's home after their dinner
"Can I have a last hug please?" Tanya asked him with a vulnerable tone
Abhay didn't know how to deny her but the next instant he found a pair of arms wrapping around his neck... He patted her head awkwardly as he didn't want her to feel embarrassed and this was the least he could do for her
Third person's POV
After a few days, Raichands decided to meet Aakriti's family and also put forward Aakriti's and Abhay's marriage proposal"Namaste Panditji... I am Naina Raichand" Naina greeted the priest politely and he greeted her back
"Panditji I have a request... I want you to talk to Aakriti's family first because I think it would be better to know their thoughts about the matter first... "
Panditji agreed to her request and called her after two days stating that Aakriti's family wants to meet the guy and his family and the final decision would be in Aakriti's hands
The next day, Raichands went to Aakriti's place but Abhay did not join them by lying that a meeting came up as the idea of sitting Aakriti was still not sitting well with him and he just agreed for the marriage for his family
Both the families exchanged greetings and settled together... Abhay's best friend, Aditya also accompanied them
Aakriti was sitting in her room with a worried expression as the only thought consuming her mind was that she wanted to marry someone whom she loved but she only agreed to meet this guy for her family's sake as she stared at her parents' happy faces and did not have the heart to deny them"So where is your son, Mrs. Raichand?" Aakriti's father asked Abhay's father to which the latter replied, "He would join us after a while as an important meeting came up at the last moment which couldn't be ignored"
Aakriti's father nodded her head in understanding
After sometime, Aakriti came down with Prisha and she joined her hands in greeting
"Helloooooo" a loud voice echoed around the hall which belonged to Aditya and Abhay's badi maa shook her head in disapproval
"Aakriti... See how excited this clown is to marry you" Prisha whispered lowly while trying to stop her laughter and Aakriti glared furiously at her
"Beta thank you for that day at the temple, I hope you remember us?"
Aakriti looked confused for a second but later realisation dawned upon her
" No need to thank me aunty, I just helped that girl as a fellow human. "Aakriti replied politely while Abhay's maa and badi maa looked at her lovingly
" Beta.. Abhay is going to join us in some time" Abhay's maa told
"Oh..... Thank God this clown is not the 'wanna be groom'..." Prisha said loudly without even realising while looking at Aditya and immediately slapped her hand on her mouth after realising her blunder and Aditya's face lost all its colour
