Aakriti's POV
Another month passed like this and I never got a chance to talk to ask him about those pictures. Prisha asked me about them and I said to her that those pictures are fake when I myself don't know the truth
Many what ifs have engulfed my mind in this past one month but I am not letting all these intrusive thoughts take a toll over me.
Sunday afternoon
It is Sunday today and I was getting bored as I had nothing interesting to do in my leisure time.
Then I thought that I should ask maa if I can help her in any way. So I asked maa if I could go for grocery shopping. She said that the grocery needs to be restocked but she would ask the servants to do the task
But I requested her and started convincing her with my doe eyes and finally she agreed to my request
It took me two hours to purchase all the essentials but it took me a great deal of self control to resist dragging all those snacks and chocolates with me
And at a point of time, I honestly felt that the clothes there were begging me to take them with me but I decided against it with a heavy heart as my wardrobe is already piled with all types of clothes but still l don't have any relevant piece of clothing for several occasions.
Well keeping aside my rant, my experience there was quite good
When I was coming out of the mart and moving towards the car, a man came and stopped near me.
"Hey... Actually, can you tell me the way to this place? " He asked me with a sheepish smile while I also smiled politely while replying in affirmative and I told him the way to his destination
" Thank you so much" he said with gratitude
"My pleasure" I replied back and we went our respective ways

Two days later
Evening time
It has been two days since the day I went for grocery shopping and I am following my usual bland routine. I was sitting in the jerk's room and suddenly I heard a loud knock and opened the door to find the jerk standing on the other side and I was stunned for a moment as it had been many days since I last saw him.
"Where were you on Sunday?" He asked me with a harsh voice
"I was in the mansion only... Oh, I went for grocery shopping in mart. But how does it bother you in any way?" I asked him
" Oh, I never knew that mart is the new lovers' point these days" he said in a mocking tone while I frowned in confusion
" Excuse me. What do you mean? " I asked him with a hint of aggression in my voice
" Drop this innocent girl act of yours. I know your true colours well enough" he said in a threatening voice
" First, I am not acting and stop beating around the bush and come straight to the point as I don't want to waste my time on a jerk like you" I replied to him with a raised voice as I was finding it difficult to control my anger
" Oh, yeah I forgot... How will madam have time to waste on me as she has to give her precious time to her lover too. Don't you dare to lie now... I know that you went to meet your lover that day" he said in a thunderous voice
" Do you even know what you are blabbering? Which lover and what nonsense are you uttering?" I asked him
"See for yourself then" he said in a blaring voice and threw an envelope on bed and I picked it up and opened it and took out the pictures kept in it. Those pictures were of me and the guy who was asking me the directions that day and in the next picture we both were smiling together
"I was just helping him as he asked me the direction"
"Stop it!!! Couldn't you think about my reputation even for once at that time"
His words triggered something inside and me
"Oh really... Look who is even talking? The one who was kissing another girl just few days ago? Where was your so called reputation that day?"
"Aakriti don't... It is none of your business"
"Same goes with you then... I don't care whether you believe me or not and on top of that I don't need to justify myself to a hypocritic bastard like you"
"Just get out of the room"
"I won't... I have equal rights on this room and you can't order me around, you cheater" I said and went to sleep as I didn't want to argue further with this man
" I didn't cheat on you, Aakriti" he Said in a low voice while looking at Aakriti who was lying while facing the opposite direction but he was unaware of the fact that someone was hearing his words
