Aakriti's POV
It has been a month since our marriage and l still sleep on the floor but now with a pillow and blanket
And in this one month, nothing has changed. Abhay and I still can't tolerate each other's presence
I have resumed my job
Evening time
I came out of the room after changing out of my work clothes and heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw badi maa, I asked her to come inside
"Beta, do you have any tablet for headache? My head is hurting a lot" badi maa asked
" Ji badi maa, I will bring it right away" I replied and took out the medicine from my first aid box and gave it to her
********
After some time
I was in jerk's room and suddenly a loud scream verberated through the mansion
I ran out towards maa's room and heard her scream from badi maa's room so I immediately rushed there
Badi maa was lying unconscious and maa was crying while holding her
We immediately took her to the hospital and maa informed jerk and papa about badi maa's health
At hospital
Maa and I were roaming in the hospital's corridor. The doctors were examining badi maa and we saw Papa, jerk and Aditya bhaiya sprinting towards us
"What happened to bhabhi?" Papa asked maa with worry evident in his voice
"I don't know she was fine in the afternoon but started complaining about headache during evening" maa said while sobbing silently and Papa gently held her to provide her support
"Badi maa asked me about medicine for headache and I gave her the pills for same" I informed them
The doctors came out and we all piled around him
" She got unconscious because she took wrong medicines. But don't worry she will be fine soon and take good care of her" the doctor informed and left
"Oh, so it is all your fault" Abhay said while looking at me dangerously
"Abhay, are you out of your mind? What bhabhi has to do with aunty's condition?" Aditya bhaiya asked him
"You all are just blinded by her act but I am not... She is the problem since day one" he said with red eyes
"Abhay don't speak rubbish" Papa warned him
" She is the one who intentionally gave wrong tablets to badi maa and due to this witch, badi maa is lying on that hospital bed" Abhay said with hatred
" Mind your language, Abhay" Papa and maa screamed at him in a low voice as we were in hospital
"Don't you dare utter nuisance about me, you arrogant man. I have not done any mistake so I will not tolerate your nonsense. I just gave badi maa the medicine for headache. Nothing else" I replied to him with equal fervour
" Abhay, what will she get out of it. There must be a misunderstanding beta" maa tried to make him understand calmly
" Maa, the doctor clearly said that badi maa took wrong medicines and she herself confessed that she gave those medicines to badi maa" he replied in a dangerously calm voice
" I said that I gave her the medicines but not wrong ones. And I don't care whether you believe me or not" I replied him calmly
"The patient is conscious and you all can meet her " the nurse informed us and we all rushed inside like students rushing towards canteen during recess
"I am sorry, I made you all worried for no reason" badi maa said in a weak voice
" No didi... What are you saying? We are glad that you are fine now by god's grace." Maa said to her
"But all this would have not happened only if I would have been more careful" badi maa said and we all looked at her with confusion
" When Aakriti gave me the medicine and I went back to my room, I kept the medicine on bed and by mistake the pills of my first aid box fell out on the bed and unfortunately one of the pills was exactly like Aakriti's given pill and I was feeling dizzy so I must have taken it by mistake" badi maa explained
" Abhay, I told you that Aakriti is innocent" maa said to him while he moved out of the room without looking at anyone
