Cladded in a beautiful red saree, an ethereal beauty is standing in front of me and I seem to be caught in a daze as I can't take my eyes off her

I went towards her and pulled her towards me and suddenly her face became pale and she fell down but I caught her and her body became lifeless

I jerked my eyes open and panted heavily

I got ready for the day and headed towards Tanya's place and she welcomed me inside and I went in without any expression

"I have done whatever you asked me for. Now you have to fulfill your part of the deal" I said to her coldly

"Awww.... Don't worry. I won't do anything to her. But I will definitely do something with you" Tanya said and I felt a heavy object striking my head with a great force right as those words escaped her mouth

I opened my eyes and immediately frowned at the strange surroundings

Then a look of vexation crossed my features as I realised that cunning woman tricked me

"I am sorry, Aakriti" I whispered to myself slowly hoping she could hear me

I smiled at my fate while thinking about the divorce papers I had to send her

I haven't done anything so that she would like me or anything but I still know that she would be hurt as according to her this marriage and her life is a mere joke to me

How I wish I could tell her that it was never a game for me and how much it breaks me to send her away from me but it is all in her best interest

I don't regret my actions as she would be free after divorce and I would do it all over again if it means her freedom as she deserves all the happiness of world and I can't provide her with that due to the darkness surrounding me

Maybe my life was meant to be like this. Filled with darkness. With her I experienced a flicker of positivity but then happiness is not made for me and I had to lose her and hurt the person whom I never wanted to be hurt

The door opened and I saw a feminine figure entering inside and I rolled my eyes internally looking at her

"Hi baby.  I see my future husband is awake" she said and I scoffed

" You think too high of yourself, don't you? I am never marrying you" I said to her while looking straight into her eye

" I guess you don't want your soon to be ex wife to live peacefully" she remarked while smirking and I groaned internally thinking that she knows my trigger point but I showed no emotion on my face but I realised that my karma is paying back as I did the same with Aakriti

Aakriti..

She is like a breath of fresh air in this world full of negativity and darkness

It hurts me alot that I have done nothing except hurting that pure and innocent soul

The day I saw her in temple, I felt some unknown emotions crawling into me but I brushed them off

Initially, I wanted to marry her just for nmy family. Thus, I did everything in my power to marry her but I promised myself that I would make everything right after our marriage and treat her like the queen she deserves to be treated as but this woman standing in front of me ruined us everything

She did all that drama of letting me go for my good so that she could be successful in achieving her ulterior motives

She blackmailed me since  before Aakriti and mine marriage that I will have to leave Aakriti

I was even ready to break the alliance to protect Aakriti and I didn't want to hurt her but this psychotic woman didn't let me and said that I have to marry Aakriti and then leave her otherwise she will kill her anyway

I had no freaking proof against her and thus I had to comply with her twisted demands

"Okay, I am ready to marry you" I said and her face morphed into a surprised one as she wasn't expecting me to give in so easily but she quickly masked it

Just as she was coming towards me to open the ropes tying me with the chair in the abandoned warehouse she brought me to in my unconscious state

We heard a noise behind us and suddenly a person latched towards Tanya and I couldn't tell who he/she was as his/her clothes were not giving away whether the person was a woman or a man
