(Okay, sorry for the long wait, had other stuff to deal with, was also on and off break, BUT it is here. Hope you enjoy.)

After a much needed rest, Katara and Sokka were cured from their fevers and we continued on our journey to the North Pole. Though, we ended up visiting a village that had a fortune teller. And the people believed her every word. I honestly thought it was silly. We all had our fortunes read and mine was about how I would find out about what I didn't had and question my identity. "You also have a passionate interest." She said. I still don't know what that means. However, Katara ended up going to her more than once which ended up with her not being allowed entry. However, due to the teller saying that everything would be fine, the people did not bother with double checking that the volcano, which they lived at the base of it, was erupting. Aang managed to save the village with some impressive bending.

We were now resting near a large river that. We also did some exploring on behalf of Aang's curious nature. I slid down a hill right as he picked up something. Something very familiar. "Hey, look. A sword made out of a whale's tooth." He says. "Let me see that." I say to him. He gives it to me and I inspect it. Yep, just as I thought. This is definitely, "Let me see that." Taking something without asking. I roll my eyes as I cross my arms and watch Sokka look at the weapon. "This is a Water Tribe weapon. See if you can find anything else." Sokka says. I give a salute then walk off in another direction. I bend down and try to find anything on the ground until I found some burn marks. I look up and find broken weapons and more burn marks.

I walk over to where there were then think. With a river nearby and our main mode of transportation being by boat, I make my way to the river. "Hey! I think I found something!" I call back to the others then climb down the rocks and onto the shore. I look to my left to find a large piece of black wood then look to the right to find, "So then what happened?" I turn back to find the rest of the gang here. "I don't know. The trail ends here." Oh, boy. I know that tone. "Not quite. Look." I point at the thing I found. It was a boat. One from the Southern Water tribe. "It's one of our boats!" Sokka says then he and Katara run off towards it. I run after them and soon stop as I look at it. Man, it's weird seeing one of these after so long. "Is this Dad's boat?" "No, but it's from his fleet. Dad was here." Sokka answers Katara's question.

"Dad?" I look back at Aang after he said that. "Hakoda. Katara and Sokka's father. He along with the rest of the men of the Southern Water Tribe left over two years ago to help fight back against the Fire Nation. We... haven't heard from him or the others since they've been gone." I explain. Then look to find Katara and Sokka with sad expressions. I walk over to them and rest a hand on each of their shoulders, "But we can rest here for tonight. So, in a way, he can be with us." I tell them. Katara smiles at me and nods her head, but Sokka still has a sad frown as he continues to look at the boat. "I'll call Appa." I hear Aang say. I give him a nod then start to walk towards the forest, "I'll get some stuff for a fire." I state.

As I collected sticks, I remember back to that day. The day the men left. I still remember what Hakoda told me. "Look after them. You, Sokka and Katara now have to make sure the people are safe. I know this is a lot to ask but I see you like one of my own. I see your strength." He told me. I was so touched that I only gave him a hug and he hugged back. After that he and the men got packing and left. But it was especially hard on Sokka. I picked up a nice big stick as I remembered how he would stand looking out into the water hours after his father and the men left. I start walking back to the boat. I hope Hakoda is okay. Sokka and Katara cannot lose another parent.

Third Person P.O.V.

It was now night with the moon high in the sky. Katara slept in her sleeping bag while Aang slept on one of Appa's arms with Momo curled up on his back. (Y/N) was laying on top of her sleeping bag as she sleeps while Sokka was still awake as he tends to the fire. He stares blankly at the flames as he remembers the day his father left.
