(Sorry, for not updating for a while. Was busy with other works, projects and real world stuff. But here it is! Enjoy!)
So, been a hot minute. Hot... Nope! Focus! Okay, so we ended up visiting the Northern Air Temple, which became a home for refugees of The War. We met a cool kid named Teo who he and other kids glide across the sky thanks to his father taking inspiration from the art on the walls that showed off airbenders flying through the sky. However, Teo's father, I call him Tinkerer, had added a lot of industrial stuff to the temple and it had upset Aang because he felt that the place was being disrespected. But then we fought against Fire Nation to ensure they would not cause the people their trouble anymore and be given more weapons by Tinkerer, who agreed to make them to keep his son and everyone safe. We won, obviously, and with the help of a large floating ship with a giant tarp in the shape of a ball. Aang came to accept the people living in the temple, realizing that it is home to the refugees and that change is not all bad along with how the spirit of the airbenders live on within the people. Also got to use one of them gliders and flew through the air. Though, I made sure to keep my mouth shut to not eat a bug like Katara. He, he.
Now, Appa is flying across the sea as we are almost to the North Pole. So close. "I'm not one to complain," I groan as I lean back against the saddle. "but can't Appa fly any higher?" Sokka asks. I hear some splashing and guess that Appa's paws were skimming the water. "I have an idea. Why don't we all get on your back, and you can fly us to the North Pole." Aang snips back. "I'd love to. Climb on, everyone. Sokka is ready for takeoff." Sokka jokes. Momo hopped onto his back and I smile at that. Did I forget to mention we have been flying for a while? "Look, we're all just a little tired and cranky because we've been flying for two days straight." Katara tries to break the tension. "And once we make it; Sleep." I state, sliding against the saddle to lay on my back. "When? We can't even find the Northern Water Tribe. There's nothing up here." Sokka says. "Maybe because they don't wish to be found or we are not looking in the right place." I voiced.
I become alert as I hear splashing and summit up right as a wall of ice form in front of us. Aang screams and we all hold on as Appa turns sharply to avoid it. Everyone screams and Appa spins out of control. "Hold on!" I shout. We hit the water and ice surrounds Appa, trapping him. I take out my fans as ships appear. "They're waterbenders. We round the Water Tribe." I relax after Katara said that. "More like they found us." I state. I put away my fans as I raise my hands up to show no harm, "We are not here to cause trouble. We have come a long way for we are here to look for a master that can teach the Avatar waterbending." I inform, moving my hands down and gesturing to Aang, who hovers in the air for a moment to prove he is the Avatar. The men gasp as they share looks with one another. The ice melts off Appa. "Follow us." One man says.
We follow them for a while as Appa swims. "There it is!" Aang exclaims. I stand as I look at the massive wall in awe. It is white with the symbol of the Water Tribe right in the center of it. "The Northern Water Tribe." I hear Katara breathe out. "We're finally here." Indeed, we are, Sokka. Indeed. A passage way forms as the waterbenders lower some of the ice of the wall. A man raises his arms to the entrance and we enter it. We stop and see we are in some dead end but then water is poured down along with the wall in front of us being lowered down. "I can't believe how many waterbenders live up here." Katara voices. "We'll find a master to teach us no problem." Aang says. Though, I notice no women with the benders.
Once the wall completely lowers, we follow some more men on boats as we look around. A whole city of ice with a palace-looking structure at the end. It is truly breathtaking. Nothing like the south. Nothing like the south... I shake my head as I focus back on the city. I see a lot of people look at us. Probably because they have not had visitors for a long time. I make eye contact with a little boy, who gives me a wave. I give him one back then look forward. A boat then passes us and on it is man bending the water to move it forward and a woman around Sokka's age with has pure white hair. (She's here~) Huh. Interesting. "This place is beautiful." Katara says, and I watch as Sokka moves to be on Appa's tail. "She is." Oh, boy. I recognize that tone. Boy is in love.
