Miracle : Dear to Me (Kiseki) The Story of Chen Yi and Eddie

Episode 3

"Why are you smiling?"

Eddie asks , sitting down on his knees and rummaging through the first aid kit. Chen Yi had to force himself not to tense up at the sight of Eddie kneeling in front of him. Now is not the time.

Eddie looks up again and notices a cut on Chen Yi's lip and another cut on his neck. He is outraged that someone harmed him. And still angry at Chen Yi for getting hurt.

"Useless. Well , don't just sit there. Take it off."

Chen Yi does as he's told , shrugging off his jacket , then winces as he pulls his shirt over his head. Eddie freezes with antiseptic in his hands. He can't help but glance over Chen Yi's body , he is gorgeous.

His body is much more toned than Eddie remembers , and his tanned skin is decorated with new tattoos. A full sleeve with intricate patterns and swirls covers his left arm from bicep to wrist. There's a big lion tattoo covering his whole side , and that's it.

"Fifth of February."

Their birthday was scribbled under their collarbone. His chest fills with thickness , but he mentally shakes himself. He can't show emotion right now.

Chen Yi watches with satisfaction as Eddie's eyes roam over his body. His cheeks turn pink and Chen Yi feels his body heat up the longer the younger looks at him. He's grateful for the bite when Eddie suddenly starts cleaning the wound with antiseptic. It's a good distraction.

He wants to ask why Eddie is here , but there is something else , that interests him even more.

"Dee...." Eddie calls quietly , testing the name on his tongue.

See how the younger one reacts. He pauses in his movements for a moment , then blinks and continues walking , trying not to show how much he likes that sound on Chen Yi's tongue.

"You wouldn't have reacted this way when i approached you earlier. Why?"

Chen Yi asks , wanting to understand why Eddie attacked him like that. Now he is treating Chen Yi's wound very carefully , so why was there the previous hostility?

Eddie rolls his eyes as he applies a large bandage to Chen Yi's wound , which doesn't look so bad now that the blood has washed away.

"It's none of you business."

Eddie says , standing up to put the kit away , wanting to put some distance between them. Chen Yi had another idea , he pulled Eddie forward to straddle his lap , instead greatly reducing the distance between them.

In this position , Eddie sits above Chen Yi , his hands resting on his shoulders , warm skin and strong muscles under his fingertips. Chen Yi looks at him through his long eyelashes , Chen Yi's hands hold his waist.

"You can't leave until you tell me." 

Eddie softens , leaning back a little to put some space between them. If Chen Yi wants to know , Eddie will tell him why he slept so lightly , why he has trouble falling asleep at all , or why he can never sleep for long when he does fall asleep. Nightmares always haunt him.

"I thought i was back in prison." 

Eddie says , looking away , not wanting to see Chen Yi's expression.

"There were other members of the Fan group who always wanted to harm us."

Eddie remembers very few nights when he actually slept well. Usually these were the nights when complete exhaustion too over.

"We couldn't sleep peacefully because someone might be waiting to attack us. Most nights , i stayed up just to let Bai Zongyi sleep."

That's when he thought of Chen Yi. What is he doing? He slept? Was he okay? Did he think about him too? Then he remembered kisses on his neck , deep moans in his ear and hands all over his body. He might have jerked off a couple of times , thinking of Chen Yi's touch as just a brief escape from his madness.
