Y/n had always been a strong and determined martial arts fighter, she was quick and strong with her movements. Her coaches and her grandmaster were convinced that she was going to be able to achieve many gold medals for their club and never let Y/n forget it. They were always quick to remind her during every training session that Y/n should be the one that others look up to. They would always compare the rest to her, use her as examples to show the class and use her and her driven dedication to work harder.

It was after a tiring session, everyone was worn out after showing their full potential in their intense training. A tournament was coming up in 4 months so everyone including Y/n was working extremely hard down to the bone. Y/n was having a drink right when the class ended, and one of her coaches walked up to her. "Y/n, I need to talk to you for a bit." Sir Ming called out, Y/n set her bottle of water down and quickly got back up on her feet even when her muscles were yelling at her to slow down "Yes coach?" Y/n asked with a smile expecting another shower of compliments or a request to help out one of the junior members or maybe even some advice for her to take.

"You know, you should start to slack down on the food. You look like you're gaining weight." Sir Ming coldly pointed out, Y/n felt embarrassed and thought her heart sank "O-oh... I do?" Y/n asked, gaining weight during tournament seasons may lead to falling into heavier categories and she did not need to drop to a whole new category. "Yes! It's so obvious too, we do not need you to become slower on the tournament day, this tournament is going to be a huge game so we need you at your top play. I don't need some lousy player to lose all because of their weight slowing them down. You better start to lose weight immediately or you're off the team." Sir Ming strictly and coldly spat out as if he couldn't see the heartbreak in Y/n's eyes. "Do you understand me, Y/n?" Sir Ming asked with a pissed-off look on his face.

"Yes sir..."

"Y/n do you want some brownies?" Felix asked handing out a container of his famous and incredibly addicting brownies, Y/n's eyes lit up seeing the box full of beauty but what her coach had said echoed through her head. "Sorry Lix, not today. I'll have some later." Y/n smiled sadly as she started to walk along with him through the halls. "Are you okay?" Felix asked as he closed the container, instantly he knew that something was wrong with Y/n because she wouldn't miss out on his brownies or any of his baking goods for the world. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Y/n asked with a weak and forced tone. Y/n felt weak after not eating for 2 months straight along with having 4 training sessions a week and having to go to school for five days a week.

"You look... how do I say this? Don't take this in an offending way but you look really pale..." Felix said as he pulled her aside, his worried glances worked up and down on her face as he spotted how her usually glowy skin became dull and pale, she didn't have the spark of life in her eyes anymore. "What happened to you? Are you sick? Have you been eating enough?" Felix asked as he placed his hands on Y/n's shoulders, with the last question he felt Y/n's entire body tense up.

There it was. The answer to his questions. "Why haven't you been eating...?" Felix asked worriedly "How long have you been skipping your meals?" he asked following up as he watched Y/n's head dipping down "Y/n, answer me please!" Felix asked until her body suddenly went limp and he felt her body collide with his own. "Y/n? Y/n?! Oh my god!" he yelled out worried and scared for the girl who was in his arms "SOMEONE HELP ME!" he yelled out louder than before when he was calling out for a response from his beloved girlfriend.

FELIX'S POV:

That day... when it all happened.

It all happened in a flash.

The teachers came running down the halls when I called out for help. I remember the teacher taking her limp body away from mine while frantically asking me what had happened, I couldn't find my words. I felt as if I had to look through a mental dictionary to find the right words, but I was looking through a dictionary that was completely drowned in an ocean. My words were short and frantic, scared to see Y/n in the teacher's arms as another called the ambulance.

Y/n...

My Y/n...

My dear sunshine...

When the hospital took her in, they didn't allow visitors in as they worked their magic. I couldn't help but check my pulse as I felt as if my world was about to end. There was so much going on in my head but at the same time, my head felt empty and lightheaded. Y/n's parents came shortly after, her mom was crying while her father was trying to convince the nurses to let them in. It was a useless attempt since they just denied, denied, and denied.

After what seemed like an eternity, they finally allowed us to see her, I insisted that her parents go in and see her first as they were the people who made my beautiful Y/n the way she was. They looked grateful and agreed, they took 10 minutes to see her and then they walked out saying that it was my turn. The doctor had already informed us that she was still passed out so I had to calm down my nerves but the adrenaline was pumping too much I could hear it in my ears. I held every urge to not bust down the door as I walked into the room, immediately I was met with the sounds of the machines that were connected with a pipe that was using a needle to cut through her skin. Oh, how much more hatred will she have for needles after this? I walked over to her bed and looked down at her sleeping face, she was breathing I could see it from the faint rise and drop of her chest and I could hear the heart monitor beeping.

"Sunshine... why did you do this to yourself? Why would you starve yourself like that? How long was this? I'm sorry I didn't notice this earlier... was this for your tournament? Sunshine, if you're worried about your weight then don't forget I'm always here to remind you that you're more than your weight." I spoke softly as I tucked away a hair strand.

It's been 3 years since Y/n was in the hospital. Her parents managed to get her coach, Mr Ming and other toxic teachers sued in court for that happening. I'm glad that I can say that Y/n is now much happier with herself, she doesn't worry about her weight as much as she used to and she has stopped starving herself for good.

But...

She's been crying...

But I can't comfort her anymore...

"Thought I would find you here." a voice that belonged to one of my friends, Chan spoke up as he held an umbrella under the pouring skies. "It's been raining quite a lot lately..." I spoke as I crouched down to the ground. "Y/n... don't cry. I know it hurts but don't cry..." I said as I passed her a beautiful bouquet of her favourite flowers. "I'll visit you tomorrow, okay? Goodbye, my love." I said as I wiped a tear and walked away with Chan, the words being carved without saying them living in my mind for years.
