- CHAPTER 7 -
MAYBE SOMETHING RIGHT
After three hours of deep hard work, Vaani collects a few information and now she's standing in her balcony, having coffee and processing her research in her head. Getting irritated with a blank step ahead and revising the incident and news, she gets confused and exhausted at the same time. Leaving the facts of her recent work, she starts recalling her reasons, why she started it. She remembers her first meeting with Gautam and Sonakshi. Then she remembers her recent meeting with Sonakshi. Then she remembers the reason for meeting Sonakshi. Suddenly she was able to connect all the dots when she recalled the two strange conversations, she heard the same day between the two men and the two ladies in the pub.
She runs back into her apartment and searches the route from Gwalior to Delhi. Then she looks for the prison location Gautam has been since last update. She works it all. Maybe with everything or something or maybe nothing, she was now determined to help her friend.
The next morning, she gets up early at five. She quickly does all the preparations, takes bath, gets dressed, has breakfast , packs a bag and then rushes to the lift door. After waiting for a while, she finally gets an auto and leaves her home area.
Hours later, sitting in an auto and heading back to her home, Vaani is on the call with her mother. It's almost ten at night and her mother is super worried and continuously asking questions. Vaani calms her down and tells her that she'll be in their apartment in a few minutes.
Finally, she reaches her building. Stepping out of the auto, Vaani feels an adrenaline rush in her body. She knew she was onto something. Something good and maybe something right was in process. She smiles inside only and heads to the third floor to her parents apartment.
