UNWANTED CHASE

"I thought you don't know driving."

"I never said that."

"But I heard you on the phone."

"Yeah! And I said 'I don't have a license and I'm not a good driver.'"

"This is news! And you really are not a good driver."

Vaani gives Tushar a look - "At least the police is not behind."

"That means we can stop for a minute and exchange the seats."

Vaani gives him another look.

"And also you guys can hug or talk, if you wish."

Vaani finds a place and stops the car. Sonakshi with all surprise puts arms around Gautam in the back seat. Gautam grabs her tight and they both gets emotional in the moment. Vaani getting out of the car, feels the emotion and waits. Tushar also gets out of the car and gives the two siblings a little space. He walks to the other side to Vaani and then asks her.

"You're okay?"

"Yeah..."

"It feels good."

"It does."

"Yea-.."

Before he could say the complete word, the two hears siren sound nearby. Tushar quickly asks Vaani to get into the car and he himself gets in the driver seat now.

"This is a strange day." - Tushar says.

"For whom?" - Vaani asks and they both share a chuckle.

Tushar has turned into some character of an action movie and just running the car into streets and making the passengers not to sit in one place. He has no idea for the route to head back to the city. At this moment, only thing which is required is to lose the trail of the following van.

"It's not a police van." - Gautam notices sitting in the back seat.

"What!" - Tushar

"Yeah, it's not a police van."

"Then why the hell it's chasing us."

"I don't know."

"Should we stop?" - asks Tushar

"NO!!! Are you mad or what! Doesn't matter if it's police or not, it's chasing us! Drive faster!" - Vaani

"Oh really! Like you were!"

"Yeah. There was no one behind when I was driving."

"There'd be no one even in the car, a while later."

"What the hell, just shut up and drive faster!!"

"You do need to drive fast, it's coming closer!" – Gautam reminds them.

"I am driving."

Tushar says this and hits the race changing the gear. The people in the car totally dances in their place and no one says anything for a while in the seriousness of the situation. Later, Vaani speaks.

"I did not imagine this."

"You do lack in planning."

"Just cut the crap! You really are not helping with these taunts."

"Guys! Stop arguing! Are you married!!?" - Gautam

"Ha! Ha! You wish!" - Vaani

Tushar gives Vaani a look and Vaani sits silent.

"They're fighting since I met them bhaiya." - Sonakshi

"We aren't fighting Sona. This is not called fighting. Fighting would happen if the van catches us!" - Vaani

"I hope you win in that too." - Tushar

"What is your problem!? Why you're poking!" - Vaani

"I'm not poking."

"You are! Do you realize we have a car chasing us! We have done a crime just a while ago, please get serious and take me a bit away from these sirens!!"

"But who are these people?" - Gautam

"I don't know. And if it's not police, then we might meet with police too." - Vaani

The air in the car just turns deep serious and Tushar tries his best to escape the chase and find some safe routes.

Surprisingly and thankfully, soon enough, the four finds a place to hide and take a little break from the unwanted chase. All gets out of the car in a place, takes deep breath and normal themselves.

Sonakshi is still tightly hugging Gautam and Gautam has his arms around her. The whole time Vaani and Gautam keeps an eye-contact, while Tushar keeps an eye around to stay safe. The four could not stay at that place for a long while but this stay was needed. Just a little gesture awaited from almost a decade needed to be expressed.

Since the moment Vaani stepped out of the car this time, she didn't say a word, she was happy, she was relieved. She was making herself to believe that now, Gautam is actually all away from prison. She was living the thoughts of him living freely now onwards, which he deserves. The happiness all together which she was feeling, for Gautam, for a happy moment, could be easily seen on her face and in her smile and eyes too. Gautam knew what was going on, he didn't say anything either, he didn't want to screw things. For him it was still a long way to feel that happiness. But he could not ignore his friend's emotion at this time. He was smiling with her. And a few moment later, Vaani walks to him and they both hug. More than thousand words which needed to be shared between these two, they did share with a long hug, holding each-other in the arms all gladly.

Before they could all talk about everything, they needed to get back to their home and make sure, they all are safe. The plan was successfully executed to escape Gautam, but now was the time to see if the plan actually worked. Whether they will be caught or not.

It was almost dusk, when the four again gets into the car and head to their building in their hometown.
