A LITTLE DISAPPOINTMENT

"I don't think it'd be safe to take him to the building only. Police can be there." - Vaani says while riding back to the city.

"You're right." - Tushar

"Then?"

"Why doesn't he stay for a while at my friend's place!?"

"That would be a nice idea. We can do that. Where does your friend live?"

"He's in Jhansi, 2 hrs max from Gwalior."

"Cool, let's do this."

Vaani says this and then she turns to Gautam in a little disappointment, knowing the fact that he won't be able to go home this day and meet his family. Gautam passes a smile, understanding and then just looks at Sonakshi. He kisses on her head and then just looks back to Vaani. Vaani making the eye- contact again, realises something.

"What about Sona, we can't make any late, Aunty ji will be worried."

Tushar driving the car meets a gaze with Vaani in doubt.

"We can't take her with us. What do we do now?" – Vaani expresses her worry.

"She doesn't have to come with us. You neither."

"What?"

"Yeah, I'll take Gautam to my friend's place after I drop you both in Gwalior."

"But.. "

"That's the only option Vaani."

"......"

"You just need to take her safely to our building."

Vaani nodding - "Okay. Okay."

Deciding the after jobs, Tushar stops the car at a safe place a while later, and makes sure Vaani and Sonakshi gets a taxi and heads to Gwalior. Gautam meeting the two girls for the last time on this day, gets into the car and then Tushar hits the main highway road again.

A successful day and still leading to a little heart-break was a bit unforeseen. Vaani stepping out of the car, and heading to Sonakshi's apartment, makes sure to tell her not to talk about Gautam yet at home with her parents. Sonakshi being mature understands and agrees. After dropping off Sonakshi at her apartment properly and having a little conversation with Renu, she asks her to excuse her being all tired and head to her own place.

Stepping into her own apartment, Vaani was still having thoughts about Gautam safety and she was praying everything goes all okay. Regretting the fact that she doesn't have any number or anything to contact Tushar and ask about things, she struggles while lying in the bed to fall asleep. But effortlessly, with some exhaustion in body and relived emotion in the mind, Vaani falls asleep.

Around 2 in the morning, Vaani wakes up. She checks the time and then gets up to walk around a little in anxiety. She takes a few water sips from a bottle in the kitchen and then goes out in her balcony. Standing by the wall, she could see the parking area of her building. She automatically starts looking for the car, she was riding in all day, but she couldn't find it. A bit disappointed she decides to check if Tushar is back or not. She runs to his floor and starts looking for his apartment. Finally finding it, she knocks on the door. Even after several knocks, when no one opens the door, she heads to her own apartment all sad. This time it was hard to fall asleep. She struggles and with the dawn she goes to sleep.
