POV CHARLOTTE

On our third day of silence, we ended up at an event together.

P'Aoom was supposed to be here with P'Fa, but since she got hospitalized with a stomach issue, I filled in as a judge for Miss Grand Chiang Rai 2025.

I got there early to start my makeup and get fitted for the dress I'll wear tonight.

P'Fa wasn't arrived yet.

About 30 minutes later, she showed up and joined the makeup team.

I spotted her in the mirror, and she was clearly ignoring me since she arrived.

She sat at a makeup table next to mine and started her own makeup.

I wasn't sure what I was feeling.

I knew our fight and the things we said came from jealousy and anger, but it shouldn't be a big deal.

I still think she overreacted about my closeness with P'Ling. If it's a problem for her, it feels like my career and achievements are unappreciated by her.

What if in the future I have a co-star other than her? Will she always act like this?

I sighed and stopped looking at her.

I finished my makeup and was just playing with my phone.

I checked X and saw someone tagged P'Fa in a tweet.

It was from a fan claiming they saw P'Fa hugging a woman at a club some time ago. I had a hunch about when that was, but I ignored it. I trust P'Fa. But the tweet also had a video showing the hug, and P'Fa seemed to recognize the person.

What really got me was a reply from someone saying the woman was P'Fa's high school ex.

I looked at P'Fa.

She was scrolling through her phone with a smile on her face, probably chatting with someone, but that smile should be for me.
Here I was, being ignored.

Damn, I really hate this.

Why is she cornering me and fighting with me when she can hug someone else when I wasn't around?

"Have you seen the video going around on X?" I asked while she was still getting her hair done.

She looked at me, raised her eyebrows, and said, "What's up?"

I handed her my phone. She looked at it and saw the video and gave it back to me.

She seemed calm and that really didn't address my concerns.

She said, "That's my ex. I've told you about her. We ran into each other at the club."

That was it. Very brief. It didn't help with my unease.

"Oh, really? Just running into each other?" I asked.

She looked at me again and signaled the hairdresser to stop.

"What do you think? Do you think I planned to meet her?"

she replied with no expression, then continued, "I haven't seen her in almost 7 years. We agreed to stay out of each other's lives. What do you want to say? Do you think I'm the type to stay friends with an ex?"

I know she can't stay friends with exes, it's hard for her.

When she falls in love, she gives her all, but when it's over, she disappears completely.

That's what scares me.

Will she do the same this time? If she easily asks for a breakup, does that mean she doesn't truly love me? Our relationship is only a few months old, and this is our first big fight over jealousy.
