15. Sicilia, Beach, and You

"Is everything ready, P'Faye?" asked Heidi, tapping my shoulder from behind.

We were at the airport, waiting for Charlotte and Engfa to arrive. Our flight was still about two hours away, but Heidi and I had decided to come early to avoid the fans who would soon know we were all in one airport.

It would be chaos if all four of us arrived together.

They'll think we're on a double date somewhere.

It actually looks like that, doesn't it?

"Of course, everything is ready," I replied, smiling at her. "And I'm a little hungry, Di," I said, whispered to her.

She laughed at me, "Oh my! We just had breakfast, Phi!" she looked at me, pretending to be shocked.

"Okay, okay, I brought snacks for us, of course because I know you're always hungry, Phi! I don't know how your stomach can hold so much food. Are you not afraid that one day your body might not be as fit as it is now?"

"You pay so much attention to me, Bless you! But I will still fit like this even with all the foods I ate.. Do you want to try it?" I raised my eyebrows and laughed at her expression.

She then smirked at me, "Oh, we're going on vacation together, and it won't be as fun if we don't test each other's 'Fitness' What do you think?" she teased me back.

I laughed out loud.

You see, Heidi and I are a very silly couple all the time. I mean, not a 'couple couple.' At least, not for now.

We get along well, our conversations flow, and she's actually a very sweet person, although the character she shows in public is always as if she likes to tease and never be serious, somewhat similar to me.

We often meet up just the two of us if there's no Englot.

We spend those moments cooking together, watching movies, or she usually comes to my salon when I'm there and asks me to do her hair treatments.
According to her, "I only want you to do it. If you refuse, I'll better go to another salon next time!"

I always laughed at her remarks. So even though I'm busy, if she wants to come to my salon, I always make time. I like having her company.

To be honest, she's been cheering me up these past few months. It's not that I needed cheering up or was heartbroken, not at all.

I also have friends outside the industry who keep me company, and I have Engfa too, who's super busy but still makes time for me.

However, I don't know with Heidi's presence and our closeness really make me feel better, make me feel calmer and happier.

About 20 minutes later, when Heidi and I were in the waiting room, I saw Engfa and Charlotte coming with their suitcases from a distance.

Today seemed quite calm, judging by the lack of fans blocking their way.

They had successfully eluded their fans.

They greeted us, and we hugged each other.

"What's wrong with you Char? You look like someone who's lack on energy," Heidi asked.

"I'm still sleepy you know" Charlotte said then pouting looking away at her girlfriend.

Engfa replied, "Hey! You fell asleep first last night, Nuu... then still complaining about being sleepy. tsk..tsk..tsk.."

Charlotte then pouted hard, really like a child. I always found Charlotte's childishness very cute, and it made me feel tender seeing them together. Both of them are a very perfect match.
