POV ENGFA

I quickly stood up and followed her, passing Heidi and P'Faye who watched us walk by with teasing smiles.

But I saw Charlotte only glance at P'Faye, then she said with nod, "P'Faye."

Of course, even though Charlotte is in a bad mood with P'Faye, they still need to act mature. We all do. After all, we are all still a family in Miss Grand.

P'Faye responded, "N'Char" and then add, "Don't kill her, I still need her, Nong," then made a 'Pweaseeee' gesture, oh, this person makes me want to kill her!

___

Charlotte quickened her pace in front of me. P'Faye's words seemed to fuel the fire burning in her heart.

I don't know maybe she found it rather teasing, or mocking.

I continued to follow her until she stopped at a room, which I guessed was Heidi's guest room. And then she opened it and stepping inside.

I closed the door after following her.

Silence.

Silence.

More silence.

Charlotte just stood in front of me, and I didn't dare to touch her.

I was truly just bowing my head at that moment, silently. But I remembered I had promised her to change my communication style so I wouldn't keep on silent too, and I needed to prove it now.

She had to know that I was indeed trying to improve myself.

I walked up to her and stopped, facing Charlotte.

"We need to talk, Nuu," I said softly, holding her hand, but she immediately pulled it away.

She was really angry. I could feel it from a hundred miles away. The tension in the room was palpable.

"Nuu, Teerak... give me 5 minutes to explain everything please," I gently pleaded.

Charlotte glanced at me, her eyes filled with sadness mixed with anger. I was truly saddened by causing the girl I love to feel that way.

Love.

I think it's clear that I love her for sometimes now. I've loved her for a long time actually, but until this moment, I haven't said those three words to her.

Haven't had a right moment too.

That be said I really don't want her to think I'm not serious about her with all these misunderstandings.

I don't want that at all.

Charlotte finally spoke, "Speak now, say what you want to say, Engfa."

Oh wow.

Engfa.

I've never heard her call me by my name without adding Phi, or Teerak, or Baby until now. Not even in our friendship era. It made me bow my head a bit.

She's clearly pissed.

After few seconds, I tried to speak.

"I know I was wrong, I got drunk last night for one reason or another" looking at my fidgeting hands now.

"I couldn't leave the after-party because you know my team and papa were there. Everyone was part of the concert celebration I can't let them down. I'm sorry," I said, looking at her, but Charlotte just stared at the wall, not glancing at me at all.

I continued with a deafeted sigh,

"And about Chandela..."

Charlotte interrupted, saying, "N'Chand, you mean? How sweet of you to give her nickname like that. When did that happen, Engfa?"
