POV CHARLOTTE

10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

"Happy New Year, Teerak," P'Fa hugged me from behind and gently kissed my cheek.

I smiled and turned slightly,

"Happy New Year, my love" I said, then glanced at her lips.

I turned around fully, wrapping my arms around her neck and smiling sweetly at her.

P'Fa looked at my lips and licked her bottom lip. I knew what she was thinking.

Then she said,
"Can you give me my first kiss of 2025? Please" with pouty lips.

I smiled and kissed her lips wiping that pout instantly. It was a sweet kiss that lasted maybe ten seconds, but our lips and cheeks were already flushed red.

"Oh my, I'm suffering watching you two," said P'Faye, making us look at her with giggles.

She then turned to Heidi, pulled her arm, and kissed her cheek. Lingering her lips there for a few seconds.

"Happy New Year, beautiful girl," she said with a smile, leaving Heidi blushing like a tomato.

We ended the year with a lot of joy and drama, and for 2025, I hope everything gets better. For P'Fa and me, I hope there won't be any more drama in our relationship.

I hope so.

POV ENGFA

We are at The Pancake Club, a dining spot by the canal in Amsterdam on a bright morning.

Today, we arrived in Amsterdam, our final destination before heading to London, England tomorrow, where Charlotte's family is waiting for us.

Charlotte and Heidi have gone back to the hotel briefly because she forgot her phone there, while we decided to wait here.

Our hotel isn't far, just about a 5-minute walk from here.

"Are you ready to be introduced to Charlotte's father, Fa?" P'Faye asked while sipping her coffee in front of her.

I looked at her and sipped my tea in front of me.

"Umm... I just need to go for it, right?" I replied with a smile.

"Yes. You're lucky, at least so far, everything has gone well. I can say the most important thing is the support from family and friends. Although, yes... there's always a bit of drama. But you have each other," she said with a smile.

I smiled at her,

"Drama can never be avoided, P'Faye, in a relationship. But you're right, everything feels easier because we never think about letting go of each other. So far."

She nodded, "I heard Charlotte's dad is a former soldier. Are you ready to ask for permission from a former soldier?" she teased me.

I laughed,

"I said Just go for it because I don't know! I hope he's not too tough on me. Charlotte said her dad is like a teddy bear, and I also think so. He was very sweet when we met before. But I'm a bit doubtful if he'll be the same when I ask to date his daughter."

P'Faye giggled at that.

Then I asked her about a topic I've been curious about for the past few days.

"P'Faye, is there something going on between you and Heidi?"

She looked at me and smiled.

She scratched the back of her neck and leaned back in her chair.
