12. Very Much Single

Now it's mid-December,

I think I can't be more overwhelmed with my schedule than right now.

On Saturday, I'm very busy and almost don't have any free time with Charlotte until Monday, I think, because our schedules conflicted a lot.

I start to feel down, especially since boss seems to be exaggerating my workload, which wasn't there before. Maybe he's doing it on purpose, because of my request the other day but I don't want to ask directly to him about that so P'Sun did.

P'Sun already told the boss that I shouldn't have any schedule on Sunday so I could rest for Monday.

Because apparently on Monday my schedule is very hectic, I have to go to Phuket for the opening of a new tourist attraction where the sponsor is one of the brands I'm presenting and then directly going back to Bangkok for an event.

But the boss insisted, and told P'Sun that because of the long holiday I requested, he had to change some of my schedule including now.

So, P'Sun apologized to me for not being able to argue with the boss about the additional schedule.

A few days ago, I received documents about the main contract copy and additional documents about the dating ban, as well as clauses and amounts I had to pay to remove the ban.

The amount stated, strangely enough, signed by the boss, was only around 5 million baht.

I discussed this with P'Sun and some of my private accountants, and they were all confused because it should be much higher.

So, I instructed my team to handle it, because I knew that amount wouldn't be a problem for me. Everything is in process now.
But I told them to discuss with the boss's team again to understand why the numbers have decreased.

I'm not complaining this though.

But I'm afraid there might be something more that they want behind it.

"P'Fa, did Charlotte tell you that she accepted a reality show offer, and can you guess who her partner will be?"

Aoom asked while we were at a fashion show for a well-known brand. She was sitting next to me during a break.

"Hmm? What show? I haven't heard," I replied to Aoom.

Aoom then told me that Charlotte signed for a reality show with some TV channel today about customs and culture, a kind of adventure through various provinces to showcase the diverse culture of Thailand.

I smiled hearing the explanation.
That will be a reality show with many episodes, wow! It must be very exciting.

Then she said Charlotte would be partnered with the rising star Lingling Kwong. I smiled and nodded at that.

I know Lingling, we met at some fashion show a while ago before she starred in the series The Secret of Us, but we don't know each other well, just exchange greetings here and there.

Lingling is very beautiful, elegant, and has a charming smile. Her acting in the series was also very good.

I also remember that Charlotte was on a variety show 12zodiac with Lingling before, so it's not surprising that they're paired for this show now.

I don't know why, but I suddenly remembered their interactions on social media. That makes me think, Does my girl idolize Lingling? Because of one of Charlotte's old tweets.

Yeah, maybe she idolizes her. Anyway, they'll have to meet and travel together often. I'm sure Charlotte will be very happy working with her idol if that's true.
