Based on S13 Ep3 - Patience
"Hey Y/N?" I hear Sam say.
I turn around to face him as I wipe my hands off on my apron and say, "What's up, Sam?"
"You think you can... give this hard drive to Jack...? He hasn't left his room since we've set him up in the room," he says softly, holding a white flash drive, "I think he'll like what's on here."
"Sure, Sammy. Are you alright though?" I say, noticing a bit of sadness in his eyes.He nods lightly as he leaves the flash drive on the counter. He walks away from the kitchen as I completely wash my hands. I sort of recognized this flash drive but I couldn't remember from where. As I left my apron spread out on the table, I suddenly remembered that Kelly had left a couple of videos for Jack so he had some sort of memory of her. Taking the flash drive and grabbing my laptop from the War Room, I made my way to Jack's room. I go ahead and knock lightly.
"Who is it?" Jack calls out lightly.
"Hey, it's me. Uh, Y/N. Can I come in?" The door opens a few seconds later, revealing a dismayed Jack staring back at me.
"Hey. Just checking in. You haven't come out since we set you up. I have something for you... Before you were born, your mom left you a message. I know you have a bunch of questions and hopefully, this is the start," I begin to tell him.I hand him my laptop and the drive after. He looks at me in confusion. I encouraged them to press the play button whenever he was ready to hear Kelly's message. The blue-eyed boy just stared at the face of his mother for a few seconds, watching as his eyes filled with tears. I gave him a slight squeeze on his shoulder before I walked out. Before completely walking away, I could hear Kelly's voice begin to speak. I make my way back to the kitchen where I see Sam on the phone, eyebrows furrowed together as he listens.
"Missouri. Wow, it's been uh...," I hear him say.
I hadn't heard that name in years. I continued to make dinner as I listened in on his conversation but my mind wasn't with me. It was still in Jack's room, wondering what he could've been feeling all this time. Sometime later and after dinner, Sam and I were sitting in the War Room, him massaging my feet and on the phone once again. I was catching up on my cross-stitching as Dean walked in with a questioning look.
"Yeah, yeah, no I hear you. Yeah, thank you, Jody. Yeah," Sam softly says before he hangs up. He stops massaging my feet as he looks bemused.
"What's up?" Dean asks.
"You'll never believe this. I got a call from Missouri Moseley," Sam adds, turning to look at his brother.
"Wow. What's it been, like a decade?"
"More," I add.The brothers begin to have a conversation. It was all normal until Dean decided to blatantly call Jack "The Anti-Christ". I immediately place my feet on the floor and my cross-stitch on the table as I look at Dean, exasperated. The two begin to argue, Dean ending it by walking out. Sam sighs and looks down at the floor.
"Did I hear him correctly?" I say, a bit annoyed.
"Yeah... he said it," Sam confirms.
"I'm not letting him get away with that, you know?" I spit.
"Y/N/N, please don't be extreme," Sam coos, "you and I are the only people who know how Dean can get. Sometimes he doesn't mean what he says."
"Don't tell me to be silent about this, Sam. Yeah, sure. Jack doesn't know how to be him but that's not his fault. Calling him names isn't helping."Couple Hours Later - 3rd POV
Jack is seated in the Study room while Sam walks towards him with a pencil in hand. He begins to tell Jack that he needs to be able to control his powers as he knows Jack is powerful. Sam places the pencil on the table, telling him to move it with his mind."That's it?" Jack questions.
"That's it," Sam replies.Jack looks at the pencil intensely while Sam appraises him. He glances at Sam again and Sam nods towards the pencil encouragingly, letting him know he is good to go. Jack has his hand over the pencil on the table and is concentrating hard, trying to move it.
