After a while me and Lee swapped; I was now driving and he was asleep.
We must've crossed a "State Line" into what has to be Iowa.
As I drive I enjoy the views and the landscapes we drive past, appreciating the beautiful scenery as Lee stays asleep.
At one point Lee stirs in his sleep and I can't help but watch him for a moment. Taking on his perfect features: his perfect nose, his long eyelashes that fan out against his cheeks, his perfect jaw, his thick luscious brows, his perfect complexion. His hair.
I focus back on the road, which is where my attention should be drawn, but I can't help but look at him. To admire him.
I want to wake him up but I know that would be a selfish thing to do. Besides, he looks so innocent. If I hadn't known he had a tendency to eat people, I wouldn't have believed you if you told me.
