Lee took the wheel when he woke up. I have the atlas and I see the traffic ahead of us has slowed to a crawl. Everyone has their right turn signals on.

Confused, I check the atlas.
"Something going on in Mason City I guess. We're still a ways from 35-" that's when I see it. A billboard. Cerro Gordo Country Fair June 2-13.

I grin at Lee and see the cogs slowly turning in his mind. Then he turns on his right indicator.

We walk hand-in-hand along the busy midway. We walk past people who are clutching beer cups, pushing strollers, or fix their hair after being whipped around on rides.

After doing some more wandering, we end up on the Ferris Wheel. Lee gives the worker five bucks and on the next carriage, we're let on.

We go up and I take on the beautiful view of the night before us. It's perfect. I glance over at Lee and he smiles. Now it's even more perfect.

We continue to go up and I look back at him after appreciating the scenery and he grabs my chin slightly and pulls me in for a tender kiss.

It's slow at first but grows more passionate. The feeling of love that had been accumulating for the past few weeks coming to the surface.

The same feelings as the ones I had the first time we kissed come back to life in me again. As if they had never left, only waited as my love for him continued to grow.

Now I was happy, being close to him. Being with him. All my troubles seem to float away. All I can think about is his mouth on mine and how his lips taste.

But that was interrupted by growing feeling in me that I had been pushing away for an incredibly long time. Any longer and I might do something that I'll regret. I think about it for a moment and realise I can't hide anything from Lee. Especially not when it comes to this.

I reluctantly pull away and confess,
"I'm hungry, Lee."He nods, understanding.

Once we get off the ride we continue to walk throughout the fair. We eventually walk up to a bathroom that I go in while Lee agreed to wait in the food line.
