Pain
____
In the dark room where even eyes lose their ability to see, you realize the true value of light, as even your eyes abandon you in the darkness.
In the corner of the room, a soul sits curled up into a ball. His eyes, open, hold an ocean of tears. His body trembles as he desperately tries to compose himself but fails miserably.
"So... r... rrr... y...."
"Sor.... rry...."
"Sorry...."
A voice whispers in the dark room, a voice filled with pain, agony, guilt, love, and desire.
His breathing is heavy, each gasp a testament to the world about the missing piece of his heart that he yearns for every moment. Every second, he is haunted by the knowledge that he himself pushed that piece away.
His heart is perpetually in pain for that little soul, for the tiny heartbeats he once heard, seen only through a digital screen.
He remembers when he first learned of its existence, how overwhelmed he was by the sheer enormity of it all, that life growing inside, moving like a tiny bead.
His body felt something it had never experienced before. His heartbeats doubled, and his eyes shone with newfound brightness.
Most importantly, he believed that the family he had always dreamed of would finally become a reality.
But the poor soul had no idea what the future held. That tiny hope would be crushed into a million pieces. And the worst part? He would be the one to do it. Or was he forced to?

*Jeon jungkook.
Jeon Jungkook, a boy with a bunny face and big, innocent eyes, was filled with many emotions.
He was a tiny human who loved his mother deeply, wanting to spend his entire life in her protective arms, feeling her warmth, hearing her sweet talks, and listening to her hopeful words about the future. These words gave hope to that small, innocent child who was always glued to his mamma.
He was scared of the world and, most importantly, of his father-a man who abused his mother, showing no mercy as he beat her. Jungkook witnessed his mother's painful screams, her shouts, and her apologies, always wondering why his mamma was sorry.
But his mother, her body covered in bruises, would hold him in her arms, caress his tiny, innocent face, and kiss him with all the affection she could muster.
"Nothing, baby. It's just that your appa is angry because your mumma did something wrong," she would say, hiding the painful truth from his big, questioning eyes, eyes too young to understand why his father was like this.
Jungkook was eight when his father beat him for the first time. His mother couldn't save him that day. His father, drunk and furious, slapped him with such force that the tiny boy lost consciousness.
His mother cried her heart out that day, cursing herself for loving a man like him. A man for whom she had left everything behind-her family, her career, her dreams. She had ignored the pleas of her parents, who loved her like a flower and adored her like a treasure.
She didn't know that the person she loved only cared for her wealth and her body. The man who once promised to make her the happiest person in the world would be the same one to shatter her life in every possible way.
After enduring everything, she now cradled a small, unconscious boy in her arms, lifeless, with a slap mark on his chubby cheeks.
The only thing she wanted was for her life to end, but she couldn't do that because the life she brought into this world had no one else. Her tiny flower would be all alone if she ended her life. What would happen to her Kookie, her bunny, her golden baby? She thought it would be better if Jungkook could grow strong and not remain vulnerable.
After controlling herself, she asked a neighbor for help. The kind neighbor agreed to take her bunny to the hospital, doing a good deed for the poor lady who was crying, holding her baby tightly.
Her husband lay asleep in the house, oblivious to the world around him, his mind clouded with alcohol.
She closed her eyes when the doctor said that Kookie was fine and just needed rest, prescribing some medicine she couldn't afford. But humanity still existed, and the neighbor helped her because little Kookie was dear to his heart.
"You take a rest. Do you need anything?" the neighbor asked, looking at the woman whose eyes were filled with tears as she held her baby.
When the neighbor received no response, he sighed, understanding the depth of her pain, and left the room, leaving behind two broken souls.
The woman stared blankly at the wall, her eyes tired from crying, yet fresh tears still fell.
Her eyes moved to her baby, and she lightly tapped his shoulder.
Her mind recalled the day she told her husband about her pregnancy. After years of marriage, their love had turned to lust, care to curses, love bites to beating marks, and trust in cheating. Despite everything, she held onto hope for the future. She felt that hope blossom when she discovered her golden baby growing inside her. With fear and hope, she told her husband, who surprisingly seemed happier than she was. Tears filled her face as she smiled at his happiness. From that day on, her husband began taking good care of her again. Her doubts about his looking at another woman faded away. The nine months of pregnancy brought back the man she had once loved.
When her bunny boy came into the world, he filled her life with every color she knew and many she didn't. Her husband was proud as he held their baby. Things seemed to be going great. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when he asked her to go to her father and ask for money, telling them about their grandchild's arrival. She refused, knowing her mother's anger well.
Her refusal led to another bout of pain and suffering. Year after year, things got worse. Many pregnancies ended in miscarriages, and many marks and curses marred her body and spirit.
As the years passed, the boy whom his father once loved became the object of his hatred. He resented Jungkook for being fragile, unlike other boys who were tough and strong. He criticized him for being cowardly, hiding behind his mother whenever there was a fight with the neighbors. He mocked his sweet voice, wishing it were deep and manly.
Whenever he made these comments while drunk, she would reply that Jungkook was just a baby. This answer always enraged him further, leading him to beat her even more brutally.
And now, in the present, she holds a boy filled with pain.
"Mamma loves you, my kookie," she said, hugging him close to her heart.
"Koo... kie missed you, Mamma. Your bu... nny mis... sed you a lot."
"Ple... ase take care of your gra... ndchild, Ma... mma."
Please tak..e care of my

A boy, lying in the corner of the room, spoke these words while closing his eyes, exhausted and weary of his life.
