The room fell into a heavy silence, tension thickening the air as Jungkook's slow, yet determined voice echoed throughout the hall. Every word hung in the air, leaving everyone too stunned to react, their minds numb to fully process what they had just heard.

"Tell me, Hyung," Jungkook demanded, his gaze fixed on Tae, his voice unwavering. "Me or this baby?"

Tae stood frozen, his eyes locked on Jungkook's, too shocked to respond.

"Bunny...?" Kai's voice broke through the silence, but Jungkook didn't waver.

"Hyung, please," Jungkook repeated, his words directed at Kai, but his eyes remained locked on Tae. "Tell me-this baby or me?"

"Jungkook, shut up," Jimin snapped, anger flashing in his eyes.

"Kook, first tell us what the doctor said," Jin interjected, his voice laced with concern.

Joon, visibly frustrated, turned to Tae. "Tae, tell us what the doctor said. What did he say?"

Tae finally broke eye contact with Jungkook, taking a deep breath before speaking. "He said... if we take good care of him, there's a chance everything could turn out normal."

"Then what's the problem?" Joon asked, confused.

Tae's eyes drifted back to Jungkook, who spoke again, his voice slow but firm. "I'm not having this child."

"Kook, stop it," Kai interrupted, trying to diffuse the tension.

But Jungkook continued, his eyes never leaving Tae's. "Hyung, we're not in a good place right now. We're having problems, and this baby will only make things worse."

"This baby isn't the problem-you are!" Jimin shouted, his irritation boiling over.

But Jungkook didn't flinch. His body remained still, his eyes cold and soulless as they bore into Tae. "Say what you want, Hyung, but you can't change the fact that this baby is inside me. And I'm not ready."

"You'll never be ready," Jimin said, grabbing Jungkook by the arm and jerking him towards himself. "What's your problem, Jungkook? What do you really want from your life? You say you don't want this baby, but have you ever thought about Tae? About his happiness, his care, his love? Never, right?"

"You're such a selfish person. You said it's your body, but for the past four years, it's Tae who has been feeding your body."

"Jimin..." Jin tried to intervene.

"No, Hyung, let me finish," Jimin interrupted, his voice sharp. "This person you keep calling innocent and a baby-he's not a baby anymore. He's freaking selfish."

"Tae, I told you to stay away from him, but you didn't listen to me. And now look at him, living off of you and killing your baby."

Jimin's eyes shifted from Tae to Jungkook, whose face remained blank, void of any expression.

"You have nothing, Jungkook. Even the clothes you're wearing are given by this man-this man you want his seeds but never wanted to nurture them ."

Tae's eyes were glued to his friend, shocked by the cruel words he was saying to his own cousin. His heart feels sour with each word Jimin spoke to Jungkook.

And Jungkook, who was listening to everything, didn't react, didn't say a word, didn't move.

"Jung-"

"Jimin, stop," Kai interrupted, his voice firm as he finally had enough. He stepped closer to them, giving Jimin a look that made him look away in frustration.
