The Kim brothers held one of the most prestigious parties of the year, attracting every significant personality from the business world. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with chatter and laughter as guests mingled, feeling honored to be invited by the renowned Kim family.

“Congratulations, Mr. Kim. I knew you were the one to get that award this year,” a man remarked with a smile, addressing Tae. Tae returned the smile, nodding in acknowledgment while Yoongi and Joon expertly attended to the guests. Meanwhile, Jin and Jimin were engaged in conversation with a few others, keeping the social energy high.

Tae’s gaze occasionally drifted toward the balcony, a sense of relief washing over him knowing that Tia was sound asleep. He was grateful she wasn’t here, as the bustling environment wouldn’t be good for her health.

“Tae,” Yoongi called out, drawing his attention back. Tae turned to face him.

“Yes, hyung?”

“Meet Mr. Kang,” Yoongi gestured to the man beside him. “He’s exceptional at his work,” he added, lightly tapping Mr. Kang’s shoulder.

“Thank you, sir,” Mr. Kang responded graciously.

“You mentioned your son was coming, didn’t you?” Yoongi asked with a smile.

Mr. Kang’s smile widened as he nodded. “Yes, Mr. Kim. He was on his way but had some work to finish up. I hope you don’t mind.”

“It’s okay, no problem at all,” Yoongi reassured him.

As the conversation continued, Tae’s attention was drawn away by the vibration of his phone. The screen lit up with a notification, causing him to glance toward the corridor. He excused himself politely, swiftly heading toward his room. Yoongi noticed his sudden departure, casting a brief glance at Mr. Kang, who seemed confused.

“There’s nothing to worry about, Mr. Kang,” Yoongi reassured .

When Tae opened the door to his room, a soft cry echoed through the space. His little bundle of joy, was meowling in her crib. He quickly sanitized his hands before approaching her, his heart swelling with affection.

“No, my love, appa is right here ” he whispered soothingly as he lifted her into his arms.she pressed her small body against his chest, her head nestled on his shoulder. Tae held her close, rocking her gently, comforting his precious daughter with all the love he could give.

Tae tried to soothe her, but her cries only grew louder, each sob piercing his heart. Panic gripped him as he cupped her tiny face, now flushed red from crying. “Sweetheart, what’s wrong, my love?” he asked, his voice trembling. But when he noticed her eyes rolling back, his breath caught in his throat. His own eyes widened in terror.

“Tia,  baby, Tia!” he shook her gently, patting her cheek, desperate for a response. But her tiny body went limp, slipping into unconsciousness. He quickly caught her, holding her tightly in his arms as he ran to the bed. Laying her down, tears streamed down his face as he pleaded with her to wake up, his voice choked with fear. When her body remained unresponsive, his heart broke.

Gulping down his panic, he scooped her back into his arms and bolted towards the door. Just as he reached it, it swung open, revealing Jimin. The sight of Tae’s tear-streaked face and Tia’s lifeless form made Jimin’s eyes widen in horror.

“Tae!!!” Jimin gasped, his voice trembling.

“Chim, please!” Tae’s voice cracked, thick with despair. “She’s not responding!” The sheer terror in his tone made Jimin shiver.
