Third P.O.V.

Meanwhile...

Harry and Hermione were left alone in the Gryffindor common room. The portrait hole suddenly burst open. As he took off the harry'd invisibility cloak, Ron suddenly appeared. He had been down at Hagrid's hunt, helping him feed Norbert.

"It bit me!" He said, show his hand to them which was covered in a bloodied handkerchief. "I'm not going to able to hold a quill for a week. I tell you, that dragon's the most horrible animal I've ever met, but the way hagrid goes on about it, you'd think it was a fluffy little bunny rabbit. When it bit me, he told me off for frightening it. And when I left, he was singing it a lullaby."

On the pitch-black window, there was a tap

"It's Hedwig!" Harry, rushing to let her in "she'll have charlie's answer!"

To read the note, the four of them pushed their heads together.

Dear Ron,

I'm glad to hear from you and that you're doing well. I got your message about the dragon, and I have some news for you. One of my friends, a fellow by the name of y/n, got in touch with me last weekend, if I'm not wrong they are student in Hogwarts as well. They had same concerns about that dragon. We already have a plan to the tallest building in midnight Saturday consider my friends in here mustn't be seen carrying an illegal dragon.

However, their message was delayed, and I only received it recently. I'm surprised you didn't mention it earlier.

Send me an answer soon as possible.

Love,

Charlie.

Harry read the letter over Ron's shoulder. His eyes widened as he saw that y/n had already approached Charlie with the same concerns.

Hermione realizing now what Y/N had meant. "So that's what they meant when they said they had it handled. They must have been planning this with Charlie all along."

"Darn't it, Hermione," Ron muttered, still trying to process the information. "Y/N already contacted Charlie before we even thought of it?"

Harry shook his head, impressed. "Looks like Y/N was one step ahead of us," he said, a hint of admiration in his voice. "I had no idea they were working with Charlie on this."

Ron let out a frustrated sigh, still processing the fact that Y/N had already taken action. "Unbelievable," he muttered, clearly annoyed. "They didn't even bother to tell us about it."

Hermione, on the other hand, looked more curious than anything. "I wonder why they didn't tell us," she mused, her expression thoughtful. "Perhaps they wanted to handle it themselves?"

Harry nodded, considering her words. "That could be it," he said, his tone contemplative. "They might have worried that we'd try to get involved and mess things up."

"But we could have helped," Ron protested, still a bit put out. "It's not like we would have just sat back and let them do all the work."

"I know that," Harry said, trying to calm him down. "But maybe Y/N had a reason for keeping quiet. They probably didn't want us to worry about it."

"And they weren't entirely wrong, either," Hermione interjected, her tone pragmatic. "We do have a tendency to get into trouble, you know."

"Hey, we're not THAT bad," Ron protested, but there was a hint of sheepishness in his tone.

Harry chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Let's be honest, Ron. We do have a habit of stumbling into dangerous situations."

"Alright, alright," Ron conceded with a sigh. "We do have a knack for finding trouble. But that doesn't mean Y/N had to keep us in the dark about this plan."
