Y/n P.O.V.
I was walking around outside of the castle just to chilling by my own presence. It's been a while I was alone for a moment, no drama for a while.
As I keep looking around, feeling the breeze of winds. I just exhale for a bit.
But then it happened only seconds, I just saw half giant, as if he was carrying a big egg.
I take seconds realizing what kind of egg was.
You gotta be kidding me.
"Okay, this gonna be A Huge Problem." I muttered as then I came towards him as I never announced my presence.
Hagrid was blissfully unaware of my presence, his attention fully focused on the egg in his arms. He was muttering to himself, excitement and wonder in his voice as he held the large, leathery egg gently.
"Can't believe it..." he murmured. "Real, actual dragon egg... never thought I'd ever have one..."
"You know how dangerous, you were carrying an illegal dragon egg, sir." I spoke casual as I was behind him.
Hagrid let out a yelp of surprise, nearly dropping the egg as he spun around to face me. His expression went from surprised to sheepish as he realized it was me.
"Jings, lass, ya nearly gave me a heart attack!" he exclaimed, holding the egg against his chest protectively. "What're ya doin' sneakin' up on me like that?"
I raised an eyebrow, arms crossed. "I wasn't sneaking up on you, sir Hagrid. I just walked up. But more importantly, what in the world are you doing with that dragon egg, sir?"
Hagrid's eyes darted around nervously as he clutched the egg tighter. "Well, er... I found it, y'see. Jus' lying there on the ground, an' I thought... well, I thought it'd be nice to raise m' own dragon." He said try to lie.
You really terrible lying huh.
"Sir... That's not how it works for a dragon. Did you won with a random stranger?" I asked
Hagrid looked sheepish, fiddling with the egg. He hesitated for a moment before sighing deeply.
"Well, I'll be honest with ya, lass. I, er... won it in a card game. A few nights back in the pub."
I see, he meet professor quirell then.
I keep looking up at him as I can smell a sweet alcohol coming from him I mentally facepalm. "Don't you tell me, sir, you were drunk that time?" I asked once again as I raised in eyebrows.
Hagrid looked even more sheepish now, his cheeks turning slightly red. "Um... well, let's jus' say I'd had a few butterbeers in me, and a stranger invited me to a card game, an' I thought it'd be harmless fun..."
I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration. "Sir Hagrid, you know better than this. Dragons are highly dangerous, and you can't just keep one as a pet. It's not safe, for you or anyone else."
I pause for a moment.
"And also, you live in near forbidden forest and your house was mostly made of woods." I added as I sigh.
Hagrid's face paled as he realized the implications of what I said. He looked around at the trees surrounding his hut, his expression a mixture of guilt and panic.
"Blimey," he muttered. "I didn't think about that..."
Oh... he is really lack of common sense.
To be honest, I was surprised how I easily persuade him, unlike the trio try to do it, he was stubborn, but gladly it was end well, not in kind way since I knew they will get detention.
