(A/n: "Dear readers, I apologize for not updating the story as frequently as I would like. I have been busy with other things and I have classes since last week, besides I haven't had as much time to devote to writing as I had hoped. However, I wanted to assure you that I am still working on the story and will update it as soon as I can. So thank you guys for waiting. 🕯️✨)

Y/N P.O.V.

Right now, it was 5:30 am in the morning.

I was now heading inside the castle, after I finish jogging myself as I already send a letter to Sir Hagrid about charlie's letter. Well, I think he was more getting attached to that dragon egg.

For f'ck sake.

He needed to let go. I swear to deities!

Hagrid was always more of an animal person. He always had a soft spot for animals, especially the unusual ones.
I guess that's why he was so taken with the dragon egg, and so insistent on keeping it with him.

But I don't think he was being irresponsible or stupid. He was actually doing his best to keep the egg safe and warm, just like he would a real baby.

In fact, I think he was doing a good job of caring for the egg. He was being very careful and gentle with it, making sure that it was comfortable and warm at all times.

But he still living in the fricking wooden house for the love of deities!

This time I heard Morgen spoke to me, "That is true, and I realize that Hagrid's house is not the most comfortable or suitable place for a dragon egg to be kept."

"However, I think Hagrid was doing the best he could with what he had. He didn't have a lot of resources at his disposal, and I think he was trying his best to provide a safe and comfortable home for the egg." He added casual

In fact, I had to agree with him. Hagrid's house may not have been much, but it was a lot better than leaving the egg out in the cold, unguarded and vulnerable.

'But still I remember hagrid and I, our agreement about that it supposed to be outside since he only needed to be fire, not on inside of his house!' I thought myself before I heard Morgen once again speaking to me.

Then, I heard Morgen spoke in my thoughts, "Yes, you're right. You and Hagrid made an agreement that the egg should be kept outside, and not in the house."

"However, I think Hagrid really wanted to keep the egg close by and make sure that it was safe and secure." He added.

I understood his point, but I couldn't help being a bit frustrated with Hagrid's stubbornness, and disregard for our previous agreement.

But then again, I also knew that Hagrid had good intention. He was simply trying to do his best to care for the egg and ensure its safety.

As I walked through the castle, I noticed a few groups of students hanging out together. Some were talking and laughing with each other, while others were sitting quietly in a corner, reading or studying.

The atmosphere in the castle was warm and friendly. People were laughing and chatting with each other, and it seemed like everyone was having a good time.

I found myself smiling as I watched the students interact with each other. It was like a small snapshot of life at Hogwarts, and it felt like a window into a world different than the one I knew outside the castle walls.
