Changbin yawned loudly as he rubbed his stomach and stretched his still-sleepy body. It was five in the morning and he just woke up to start his morning routine before his beloved artist woke up. It was a day off when she wouldn't be leaving home and would work on some songs in her studio room, an opportunity for him to go back home for a little to grab some stuff and come back.

He was done yawning but continued stretching as he made his way out of his room and to the bathroom. He opened the door and was about to walk in when he noticed something, someone. A shadow passed by to his left. Bitna doesn't wake up at that early hour and Hajoon went home last night. Stella would never wake up before three in the afternoon on her days off. Then, who was lurking in the house?

As sharp as he had always been, Changbin's eyes scanned the living room, finding no one. His eyes darted to the backyard that was visible through the glass door. The door that Changbin could see was slightly open. Silently, he made his way to the door and swiftly, he slipped outside.

In the far corner of the garden, he could see someone crouching down, back-facing him. The sky wasn't completely lit yet, but Changbin could see him clearly. That intruder surely had a smaller frame than Changbin, which made it highly possible for Changbin to overpower him without any weapons. The intruder was all dressed in black from head to toe with even a black cap, and there was a possibility that the blackness hid a weapon underneath.

As silently as he could, Changbin stepped on the grass barefooted, reaching exactly behind that intruder. He waited for the right moment to attack and that moment came pretty fast cause that intruder decided to stand up and turn around.

Before he could ever turn around, the intruder was held in a headlock and his left arm was twisted behind his back. He screamed and wiggled in Changbin's arm, only for Changbin to turn around and flip the intruder over his back and send him to the ground. A second later, the intruder was rolled on his face on the grassy ground with his two arms locked in Changbin's hand behind the intruder's back.

"Hey, hey, hey," The intruder screamed. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

"What the hell is wrong with me?" Changbin growled and pushed the boy's face into the grass. "How the hell did you get in?"

"Th-rough.. T-he..." The boy lifted his head up and spat the grass that went into his mouth. "Ugh, fuck! Through the fucking door!" He yelled. "Who the fuck are you? Let go of me!" The boy looked over his shoulder to finally see Changbin's face. "Oh, God!" He huffed and dropped his head down. "You are Ella's new bodyguard." He groaned.

Ella?

Changbin remembered Bitna telling him it was a name only those who were close to her use. He gave the boy a second look and he looked somehow familiar. Where did he see that sharp face with childish features, long brown hair, little eyes, and freckles?

Changbin's eyes snapped to inside the house where there was a wall full of photos of Stella with some male. The same one in all of them. He was someone she knew! He was the same one in Changbin's clutches.

Changbin immediately jolted and let go of the boy. He stood up and pulled the boy to his feet, more like yanked him. Changbin was confused. Should he apologize? But the freckled boy was the one who sneaked in. Was it safe to let him go? He was surely someone familiar to Stella. But was it okay to trust him?

"Aw, aw," The boy groaned as he flexed his aching arms. "You were one step away from tearing my arms apart, man!" He rubbed his shoulders and back. "That would've cost a lot if I was injured and couldn't proceed with my schedule." He chuckled and then looked at Changbin with a wide smile that made Changbin more confused. "But it's a relief. I have no hard feelings." He winked at Changbin. "That means you are always on alert and ready to protect my Ella." He stepped closer, extending a hand to Changbin. "I'm Felix."
