Chan surely had to stop the car and switch seats with Changbin who shouldn't be driving anymore.

Right after the call with Stella, they logged into her system and checked the cameras to find there was really someone in her house. Some suspicious man was hiding in the washing room downstairs. Once the man sensed Stella's movement upstairs, locked himself, and hid in the washing room, Chan gave Stella the green light to run for her life. She silently went downstairs while shaking and trembling. She was covering her mouth with her two hands to muffle her sobs. When she was down there, she snatched her phone from the sofa and ran outside the house as fast as she could.

From behind the screen of the laptop in the backseat of the car shared by the three friends, Minho started locking the house with the culprit in and Stella out. The doors locked. The windows locked. The electric-enforced blinds fell down. The alarm system was activated, ringing wildly and calling the security and police. The electricity was cut off the house so the culprit couldn't unlock any of the doors from the inside. To unlock the house, it would only be done through the system manually by Stella's fingerprint at the front door or Changbin's. Or the other way was to hack the system as it was designed to be locked remotely through the program but never unlocked through it. And that wasn't a tough task for Minho who knew all the ins and outs of that security system. Other than that, there was no way out. They trapped the rat.

Changbin sighed in relief when Stella called him again and informed him she was safe at the nearby police station, but still pleaded for him to hurry up. Changbin's relief was shoved out of the window when Minho told him of the ugly things he found while checking the old footage of Stella's house. That was when Chan had to jump in and pull Changbin from behind the wheel cause he wasn't thinking straight to drive straight.

The time was running frustratingly slow as they drove to that station. Chan advised Minho not to show Changbin any more footage and just to copy what needed to be handed over to the police to help them with their investigation. Changbin called a fellow officer from that area to follow up with him about what happened with the freaking pervert from Stella's house. The police were already surrounding the house, waiting for Changbin or Stella to unlock it using the fingerprints so they could infiltrate.

But Changbin wanted to head to Stella first. So, the police had to wait till he made sure she was safe.

Changbin's heart leaped out of his chest once he walked into the station. The moment Stella lifted her head up and locked eyes with Changbin, all the tears and sobs she was trying to contain, came out badly. She sobbed as she stood up from the seat opposing one desk in the corner of the hall, and ran towards Changbin who was already striding towards her. Surely Stella didn't think before throwing herself straight into Changbin's arms, falling on his chest. And Changbin didn't spare a second before he engulfed the girl, hugging her tightly and rocking and caressing her trembling body. Most of the officers and whoever worked in that hall fell silent, watching the artist they all knew break down in the arms of the personal guard who once had a scandal with her. Chan and Minho knew that the situation wasn't the best for them, but they both were understanding.

The girl was terrified, and Changbin was attached.

There was no need to ask for an explanation.

Changbin didn't try to push Stella away nor he asked her to quit crying. He kept caressing her hair and back while telling her it was okay and she was safe. While trying to calm her down, Changbin noticed the girl was wearing nothing but a thin white freaking shirt, and she was even barefooted. When he was about to ask Chan to bring her something from his clothes in the trunk of the shared car, Changbin found Minho by his side, handing them a large zip hoodie and a pair of sneakers. Minho gave them a tight smile and then walked straight to the officer responsible for the case who was already talking to Chan.
