Stella yawned loudly as she walked out of her room. They had finally wrapped up shooting the music video the day before, and she was having a one day off in Thailand that she could enjoy as she wished but she decided to stay at her hotel suite for that day. She was familiar with Thailand and had visited it loads before so she wasn't interested in going sightseeing or anything. Plus, she was dead tired and needed to rest.
She slept for the whole night and woke up early for the first time in ages, feeling energized. As she was still yawning, she walked to the open kitchen of the luxurious suite, only to find Changbin seated there at the head of the table in the open area between the kitchen and the living room. She flinched and closed her wide-open mouth just one second before he lifted his head up and looked in her direction.
The poor creature choked on the coffee he was sipping and started to cough. He coughed and coughed nonstop until his face became red. Panicking, Stella peddled towards him, grabbing a bottle of water from the kitchen counter on her way, and handing it to him along with tissues. He was trying to breathe and she was stupidly smacking his back over and over, not knowing if that was actually helping or if she was making it even worse. A few seconds passed painfully slowly till he calmed down and started to breathe normally again.
"Oh, God!" Stella gasped and sat down on the seat next to him on the dining table. "You could've died!" She scolded, placing a hand on her heaving chest.
Changbin coughed lightly and wiped his mouth. "I'm sorry. I was just.." He looked at her. "taken aback."
"Why?" She questioned innocently. "You know I'm sleeping in the room across the hall! What is it to make you that startled to the extent of choking?" She watched as Changbin's eyes trembled and his lips sealed. She was waiting for an answer but instead, she was getting a reaction. There was a pink tint creeping up his face. Stella started to feel self-conscious and looked down on herself. She was in her pajama which was a crop top and a pair of cute satin shorts.
Did he get flustered because of that?
He was cute, Stella thought and smirked to herself. Working with too many men should've made him awkward around women. Is that why he hated being so close to her either on the plane or in that suite? Was he feeling so uncomfortable around a beauty just like he-
"It's your hair." Changbin said, pulling Stella back from her thoughts about his cuteness and her beauty. Stella looked at him and saw he was reddening and his neck veins were almost popping out. He looked like he was about to burst out, and that's what he did. "Puahahhahahhahahahah." He laughed out loud.
Stella was taken aback. He was laughing! Laughing and laughing as if she was a joke. Hair? What was wrong about her naturally golden hai-
She jolted and immediately, her hands flew to her hair. Her eyes widened as she felt the mess on top of her head. Oh no!
She jumped to the nearest mirror and looked at her reflection with a dropped jaw. That was a nest on her head, not hair. Recalling the night before, she remembered washing up but never drying her hair or brushing it. She didn't tie it or do anything and just dropped dead on the bed. So, right now she had a badly tangled ash blonde dry hair that screamed 'Moisturize me, you idiot!' on top of her head.
In the background, Changbin was still laughing out loud from the depths of his heart. Stella turned around and looked at him weirdly. It was her first time to see him laughing like that. She didn't know he was capable of laughing in that way. And oh, girl! His laughter was music to her ears. How could someone's laugh be that contagious?
She forgot about her hair and the whole situation and walked back to the table and sat down with a wide stupid smile on her face as she looked at him. He was adorable when he let it all and laughed like that.
