Hafeez took Mahni to one of the most expensive restaurants in Lahore, booking the entire place just to cheer her up.

After parking his car, they walked into the restaurant and were greeted by the head chef at the door.

"Welcome, sir," the chef smiled.

"Thank you. Is everything set?" Hafeez asked, admiring the beautifully decorated restaurant.

"Yes, sir, everything is set. Mrs. Hafeez, enjoy your date," the chef said, smiling at her.

"You may leave," Hafeez ordered.

The chef bowed slightly and left, leaving the couple alone.

"Where is everyone?" Mahni asked.

"Probably because it's late, so no customers today," Hafeez lied, looking up.

"Hafeez, look at me and repeat what you just said," Mahni demanded.

"Jaan, what happened?" Hafeez asked, looking at Mahni with concern.

"I knew it. I knew you were lying because whenever you lie, you never look at me; you look up or to the side," Mahni said, jumping a bit and placing her hands around his neck.

"Jaan, what happened to you?" Hafeez asked, bending slightly so her hands wouldn't hurt.

"Thank you. I know you booked the whole restaurant for us to enjoy ourselves," Mahni said, pecking him on the cheek.

"Jaan, I promise to always make you happy," Hafeez said, placing a kiss on her forehead.

They stared into each other's eyes for a long time before looking away. Hafeez intertwined their hands and led her to the kitchen, where he put on an apron.

"What's this, Mr. Mafia?" Mahni teased.

"I'm making a sweet, delicious meal for you," Hafeez replied.

Mahni crossed her arms. "What are you making then?" she asked.

"First, I'll make cupcakes, noodles, Qorma, koftas, and some fruit salad," Hafeez said, pouring flour into a bowl.

"Let me help you. You'll get dirty if you do it alone," Mahni said, moving toward Hafeez.

"Stay there!" Hafeez pointed his finger at her. "Go and sit down. I'm at your service today. Just say what you want to eat, and I'll make it."

"Fine, since you insist. I'll take my seat outside," Mahni said, laughing at Chef Hafeez.

Mahni went outside, sat down, and started playing games on her phone while waiting for Hafeez. Her mind wandered to him, but she decided to leave him alone. Suddenly, she heard a noise from the kitchen.

She stood up, put her phone away, and rushed to the kitchen to find Hafeez covered in flour, including his hair, and hissing because the bowl had fallen.

"Ghost!" Mahni screamed, looking at him.

"Jaan, it's not funny. I'm trying to make cupcakes for you," Hafeez said, looking sad.

"I told you to let me help, but you refused. Who said cooking or baking is easy? Wait, let me help you," Mahni said.

She spotted a pink apron hanging in the dressing room, grabbed it, and put it on.

"What are you doing, Jaan? I told you I'd do it," Hafeez said.

"But I'm hungry," Mahni pouted. "If I keep waiting, the whole restaurant will turn into flour."
