Michael: It's hard to see grandpa like this.

Stacy: (sobbing) I miss him so much!

Donald: This is hard for all of us.......but we must keep strong. Grandpa wouldn't want us to stay like this, he would want us to keep moving forward.

Martha: Donald, we all loved him very much, he was your father as well, the children considered him their inspiration, how can we move on from it?

Donald: I..........I.......Oh I don't know........I just don't know.

(Martha hugs Donald)

Not many people came to honor my grandfather, the man who did everything for them and who wanted to make the world a wonderful place to live in. It was only me, my family, some of our neighbors, a few of my classmates like Elizabeth and my old friend group.

My childhood best friend, Albert wanted to come but his parents forbade it since we were no longer friends with the family after they had kicked us out while on the way to a birthday party. Most of our neighbors didn't even invite us to any events after that. And some of the kids who I knew since Elementary were no longer friendly to me.

It was tough after the funeral. Without Grandpa, or just felt empty. I don't know how long I couldn't sleep or even eat after that.

And school wasn't doing much better. By that point, everyone was celebrating that my grandfather was dead or they didn't care for my mental health. My sister was in the worse shape and from that point on, she went full dark. As in emo mode. I couldn't stand seeing her like that.

As for my brother, he started to get dark too and lost all hope for our family. After the death of grandpa, all records of his name and his achievements were torn down by the Socialist Party and anyone loyal to them immediately branded us as "disgusting rats"

The entire island was against us. At least that's what it felt like.

There were a few people who still remained loyal to our family and those who believed that the parliament was going too far especially with the Royal Family who believed that the Socialist Party was getting out of hand. Some people even gave us the support we needed to heal after hearing word about Grandpa.

But even with that help, the scars still stung.

As I finally reached 12th grade, things took a toll on my family for the worst. For one thing, because the Socialist Party had control of the bank, they immediately closed our account off and repossessed our house to another family. My father lost his job working as the sales manager for the Worthy Technology Enterprise which was our family owned company.

And my mother was diagnosed with a disease infection that moved rapidly in her body that she couldn't afford the medical attention needed to treat it. Some medical workers said that there was nothing they could do to aid her.

And we couldn't afford or pay the medical bills because of how the banks closed off our accounts. Anything that was valuable to us was immediately taken from us like pirates.

We then later had to find affordable renting space so we made home in a small building in the big city but like all parts of the island, the city was even worse.
