At Raf's mansion
It was around 8 pm, and Raf was in his room, working on his laptop.
Just then, One of his men approached him, looking tense. Raf raised an eyebrow, sensing something was amiss.
Raf: "What is it?"
The man hesitated, "Sir... Mathew..."
Raf's anger flared at the mere mention of the name. He clenched his fists, his body boiling with anger. His eyes become red.
Raf: "What about him?"
The man swallowed hard, "He... he's planning to sabotage your deals and funds. His men surrounded our fund dealers today."
Raf's anger reached a boiling point of a valcano. His eyes turned red, and his face looked so scary.
Raf: "Then...?" (his voice low and menacing)
The man gulped, "But, sir, our funds are safe... there was just a minor clash between our men and theirs."
Raf nodded, his anger still simmering. He stood from the bed, his anger boiling in his whole body.
Raf: "That bastard! What does he want from me?" (he shouted in frustration)
Just then, a knock at the door interrupted the tense moment.
The men opened the door, revealing Luna standing there with a gentle smile.
Luna: "Hi, brother" (she whispered)
The man smiled back, but Raf's gaze fixed on Luna, his eyes narrowing in irritation.
Raf: "What is your problem?" (he growled, his tone harsh and angry)
Luna gulped, taken aback.
Luna: "I...I need...to talk..."
Raf saw his man.. He bowed and left the room, leaving Raf and Luna alone.
Raf turned to grab a glass of water, his movements tense with anger. As he drank, Luna stepped further into the room, fear in her eyes.
Luna: "How are you?"
Raf turned, his eyes blazing with anger.
Raf: "Huh? How am I? What the hell do you need now?" (he yelled, making Luna flinch and look sad at the same time )
Luna: "Um, no...I was—"
Raf: "Go to your room!"
But Luna hesitated.
Raf touched her shoulder, trying to guide her away, but she resisted.
Luna: "I...please wait..."
Raf stopped , Luna turned to him and looked at him
Luna: "Please...I need to give you this." (she held out the chain she had bought earlier)
Raf stopped, his angry red eyes fixed on the chain, then back at Luna.
Raf: "What's this?"
Luna: "A chain."
Raf looked at the chain, then at Luna, and his anger began to fade.
Luna: "It's...for you."
Raf: "Me?"
Luna nodded, smiling.
Raf: "I don't need—"
Luna: "Please,. Accept it. "
Raf's gaze softened, his eyes fixed on the chain. He had never received a gift like this before.
Raf: "But...why?"
Luna's voice cracked, tears forming in her eyes.
Luna: "What's with this question ? , You've done so much for me, when I ask why , you didn't tell anything but still helping me. and I can't repay you. But this...this is just a thanks giving gift. I bought it with my own savings. Please, don't resist it. I'll be so happy if you accept it."
Raf sighed deeply, his anger dissipating like a cloud. He held out his hand, seeing him ready to get it. Luna's face formed a bright smile and Luna placed the chain in his hands and smiled at him.
Luna: "Um...okay, bye then. Good night."
Raf nodded, and turned to do his work, his expression cold once more, but his eyes betrayed a hint of warmth.
Luna pouted but smiled, she was happy that he had accepted her gift.
She turned and left Raf's room.
Raf held the chain in his hands, gazing at it with softened eyes. His anger had vanished, luna made it gone within seconds.
He gently touched the chain, feeling a sense of feeling that he never had before.
Then, he carefully placed it in a box and stored it safely inside a cupboard.
With a peaceful heart, Raf went to sleep, his mind free from the anger that had consumed him earlier.
Luna was so happy that she gifted something and he got it.
Luna's room.
She smiling widely and sighed. She turned on the lights and start preparing for her exams.
Night skips....
Next day morning
Luna got ready for college and came downstairs, where Agnes greeted her with a warm smile.
They had breakfast together and completed their morning routine, preparing to leave for the day.
Just as they were about to head out, a pair of hands covered Luna's eyes.
Luna: "Aigoo! Who's this?"
The person remained silent, but Luna could sense a familiar presence.
Raf: "Hey, Nick. You're here?"
Luna: "Nick?" (she smiled, trying to guess)
Nick removed his hands from Luna's eyes, and she saw him standing before her, grinning mischievously.
Nick: "Aishh! Raf, can't you see what I'm doing here?"
Raf sighed and looked at Nick.
Raf: "How did the work go?"
Nick smiled and nodded, indicating everything went well.
Nick: "How are you, Luna?"
Luna: "I'm good! How about you?" (smiling)
Nick: "I'm good too" (smiling back). "Off to college?"
Luna nodded.
Raf: "Yah! Go and drop her off!" ( He said, went back inside )
Nick: "Yah! I did travel all night to come here... I need some rest... RAFFFFF!" ( Nick sighed dramatically )
Luna: "Um... I... I can go myself..."
Nick: "Aishh! Just kidding... I'll take you. Come on!" ( Nick smiled and gestured for Luna to follow him )
Together, they headed to the car, ready to start their day.
