Jerome left an hour later, after letting everybody get settled into the outage. He said he was going to go "Finish the job". Why couldn't he just leave Bruce alone and stick with me? Of course. He chose the billionaire, over me. I-I'm not jealous- YOU'RE jealous!

The city electricians got the power back up an hour and a half after he left. Then I got a call from Harvey.

"Go for Delmont-" I joked as I answered the phone.

"Laura- Did he hurt you?" He asked.

  I stayed quiet. "Who?"

"You know exactly who I'm talking about."

   "What?" I asked again.

"Jerome came back and blew something up with someone in it and blew the power. Then he disappeared for the next hour. I know where he went and I'm asking you DID. HE. HURT. YOU."

    I stayed silent. "Wow..."

   "Laura I'm not playing around!"

I didn't answer him. I just went blank.

   "That's it, I'm coming over."

"No, no, no! I'm fine! I just didn't expect all that..." I lied.

"Well hurry up next time. I'm trying to take care of you."

   "So..where did he go.."

Harvey stayed quiet for a second. "He didn't make it easy but...we got him."

"Will I be able to talk to him?"

   "Laura-"

"Dad. I just want to talk to him. Its been a long time and I wasn't expecting him back."

He went silent for almost a minute.

   "....okay."

I'm pissed.

I mean- of course. He HAD to go and get himself thrown in the looney bin. Not even 2 days back and he's already in Arkham.

I walked through the halls of the Asylum, then turned into a room which seemed to be divided in half by a glass booths.

"Ah, there she is." Jerome smiled mischievously.

I glared at him, then sat down infront of him.

He knew exactly what I was thinking and how I felt. He couldn't blame me though.

   "Look....Doll-"

"Don't you 'look doll' me. Why couldn't you be careful for once. Then you wouldn't be in this mess and I wouldn't have a thousand targets on my back again." I snapped.

He blinked, then he started to make a pouty face.

"Well obviously, I didn't mean it.."

    "Sure."

        "Sure?"

"You shouldn't have gone running for the kid just yet. That wasn't smart."

"And you had a better idea?"

   "I could've thought of one!" I reasoned.

He rolled his eyes and leaned to the side.

    "Jerome."

"Arguing isn't gonna get us anywhere, Laura. You know that."

    I stared at him.
