Chaitanya's POV

It's been four days since I've been away from Hukum, and today the longing is almost unbearable. I miss his warm smile, his gentle touch, and his reassuring presence. But I know that soon I'll be reunited with him, and that thought fills me with excitement and anticipation.

Hukum will be arriving soon to take me back, and I'm caught in a whirlwind of emotions. On one hand, I yearn to be with him, to feel his love and comfort. On the other hand, I'm torn away from my parents and siblings, the people who have been my rock, my support system, for as long as I can remember.

As I stand in front of the mirror, getting ready for Hukum's arrival, I'm aware of the conflicting desires within me. But I know that I have responsibilities, duties that I must fulfill with determination and courage. I take a deep breath, steady myself, and focus on the task at hand.

I slip into a beautiful yellow peach-colored poshak, adorned with intricate embroidery and delicate patterns. I keep my jewelry minimal, opting for a simple yet elegant look. As I finish getting ready, I hear the honk of the car outside, signaling Hukum's arrival.

My heart skips a beat as I make my way downstairs, my feet moving quickly to meet Hukum. I feel a mix of emotions: excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. What will the future hold for us? How will we navigate the challenges that come our way?

As I reach the door, I take a deep breath, preparing myself for the journey ahead. I know that with Hukum by my side, I can face anything that comes our way.

It's been two hours since Hukum's arrival, and we're all lounging in the living room, engrossed in conversation, our bellies full after lunch. The warm atmosphere is filled with laughter and chatter, but suddenly, Dadisa interrupts, "Aap sab log ab thodo aaram kar lyo, pher pachi gaadi bhi chalani hai." (You all should rest for a while, as you have to drive again later too.)

Hearing this, we all rise from our seats, and Dev escorts my brother-in-law to the guest room. I make my way to my room, with Hukum following closely behind me. As I enter the room, I remove my odhna, feeling relieved as its weight lifts off my shoulders. I gently place it on the couch in my room.

Hukum's arms envelop me from behind, and he rests his head on my shoulder. His warm breath sends shivers down my spine as he nuzzles his face at the point where my neck and shoulder meet. I inhale deeply, feeling his presence, and tighten my hold on Hukum's hands, which are placed gently on my stomach.

"I missed you, Hukum," his muffled voice whispers against my skin.

I lean backward, melting into his embrace, and reply, "I missed you more."

Hukum's eyes lock onto mine as I turn to face him. His gaze darts toward my lips, then back to my eyes, seeking permission. I blink, affirming my consent. Hukum's lips brush against mine, sending sparks throughout my body. I clutch his biceps tightly, feeling the jolt of electricity.Hukum's lips rest on mine, not moving, just savoring the moment. Time stands still as we breathe each other in, our hearts beating as one.
