Chaitanya's POV

The arrival of our babies turned our world upside down in the best and most chaotic way possible. From sleepless nights to endless cuddles, every moment was a whirlwind of emotions, laughter, and exhaustion. But amidst all the chaos, one thing remained constant—our love, stronger than ever, weaving through the struggles of new parenthood.

The first few weeks were the hardest. Our nights blurred into days, and our days dissolved into an endless cycle of feeding, burping, and soothing two tiny humans who had suddenly become the center of our universe. Hukum and I barely got any sleep, taking turns to rock the babies whenever they cried. But no matter how exhausted we were, one glance at their tiny faces made it all worth it.

Our little princess, had already wrapped her father around her tiny fingers. She was a complete daddy's girl. The moment she was placed in Hukum's arms, she would stop crying, nestling against his chest as if she had found her safest place in the world. My Prince, on the other hand, was more attached to me, always seeking my warmth.

One night, when both babies decided to cry at the same time, we felt completely helpless. "Jaana, you take Hridhan, I'll take Hridha," Hukum whispered as we sat on the bed, each rocking a baby in our arms.

"I swear, I don't know how people do this with twins," I muttered, yawning.

Hukum smirked, pressing a kiss on his princess's forehead. "Well, we're doing it. Barely, but we are."

I chuckled, shaking my head. "We haven't even slept properly in weeks."

He groaned dramatically. "Tell me about it. Jaana, I can't even remember what a full night's sleep feels like. But look at them... can you believe we created these two?"

I gazed down at our babies, my heart swelling. "It still feels like a dream."

And no matter how exhausting it got, it was a dream we wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

When the twins turned fifteen days old, we held their Namkaran ceremony at our home—a joyous occasion filled with family, laughter, and love. The celebration began with a traditional Pooja, invoking blessings for our little ones.

Dressed in my Phera Poshak, I was led to the Pooja ceremony by Aryan Banna and Arjun Banna, who each held my Palla—a cherished Rajputi ritual where a sister-in-law is escorted by her brothers-in-law to the sacred space. Their protective presence filled my heart with warmth as we walked through the gathering, surrounded by the love of our family.

Once the Pooja concluded, the elders showered their blessings upon me and the babies, offering prayers for their health and happiness. Then, in the presence of our loved ones, Karnika, the twins' Massi, had the honor of announcing their names.

With bated breath and joyful anticipation, we listened as Kratu revealed the beautiful names chosen for"Hridha and Hridhan," she announced with a proud smile. "Two hearts, two souls bound by love."

Everyone cheered, and as I looked at Hukum, he gave my hand a gentle squeeze, his eyes filled with emotion

Everyone cheered, and as I looked at Hukum, he gave my hand a gentle squeeze, his eyes filled with emotion. "Perfect names for our perfect babies."

The twins became the center of attention, with Dev, Aryan, and Arjun cooing over them. "Look at these tiny hands, bro!" Aryan gushed, tickling Hridhan's palm.

Arjun chuckled. "I never thought I'd see the day Bhabha would be holding a baby in his arms. And look at him now, a full-time daddy."

Hukum smirked, bouncing Hridha gently in his arms. "You guys are just jealous because I have the two cutest babies in the world."

Dev rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah jeejosa. Just wait till they start running around. Let's see how you handle two little tornados then."

Hukum laughed. "Let them come. I'll handle them."

The one thing everyone noticed was how utterly possessive Hukum was over our daughter. If anyone tried to take Hridha from his arms, he'd scowl, as if daring them to try.

"Relax, Hukum," I teased one evening when I saw him glaring at Aryan banna, who was attempting to hold Hridha. "She's not going anywhere."

He huffed. "She likes being with me."

I smirked. "Haan haan, jab bhookh lagegi tab toh mere paas hi aana padega na?"( Yes she will know when she gets hungry).

He rolled his eyes, but before he could reply, Hridhan let out a loud cry in my arms, making everyone laugh. "See? My boy already knows his mother is the best."

Days turned into weeks, and soon, three months had passed. As per tradition, I was taken to my maternal home for a while so my family could take care of me and the babies. Saying goodbye to Hukum, even for a short while, felt harder than I expected.

"You'll come visit soon, right?" I asked as he helped me into the car.

He kissed my forehead. "Of course, Jaana. I'll be there before you even have a chance to miss me."

I did miss him, terribly. But the time spent with my family, watching my parents dote over their grandchildren, was precious. My mother would hum lullabies to them, and my father would walk around with them in his arms, whispering stories. The twins were surrounded by love, and I couldn't have been more grateful.

The chaos of parenting never really subsided, but by the time the twins were four months old, we had somewhat adjusted. One particularly hilarious night, Hridha woke up crying, and before I could reach her, Hukum was already by her side. He picked her up, shirtless, his sleep-ridden eyes barely open.

As soon as he held her close, she started searching for milk—on him.

I burst into laughter, clutching my stomach as Hukum stared down at our baby girl in horror. "Jaana, she's—she's—"

"Trying to feed from you?" I wheezed between fits of laughter. "Oh my god, this is gold."

Hukum groaned. "Princess, I love you, but I don't have what you're looking for."

I was still laughing when I took Hridha from his arms, kissing her tiny nose. "Sorry, baby girl, your daddy is not equipped for this."

Hukum shot me a playful glare. "You're never letting me live this down, are you?"

I smirked. "Nope."

Despite the sleepless nights and constant chaos, every single moment with our little ones was a treasure. Watching Hukum be the best father, seeing our family grow together, and experiencing the purest form of love made all the challenges worth it.

This was our journey—messy, exhausting, beautiful, and ours. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
