Chaitanya's POV

As I slipped into the stunning sea green poshak, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. Today was the day of our reception party, and I knew that all of Hukum's business partners and clients would be attending.

Kakisa, my trusted helper, assisted me with the intricate jewelry and delicate makeup, ensuring that every detail was perfect. As she worked her magic, I couldn't help but think about the importance of making a good impression. Hukum's partners and clients would be judging me, not just as his wife, but also as a representative of his family and business.

Once Kakisa left the room, Hukum entered, looking dashing in his crisp white jodhpuri. He stood still for a moment, admiring me from head to toe. "You look gorgeous," he said, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.

I blushed at the compliment, feeling a sense of pride and happiness. Hukum walked closer, his eyes locked on mine, and I couldn't help but twirl around, showing off my stunning outfit. He took in every detail, his eyes scanning me from top to bottom, before nodding in approval.

Hukum's eyes sparkled with love and adoration as he took me in his arms. He gently kissed my forehead, and I stood on my tiptoes, kissing him softly on the cheeks. The height difference between us made me smile, and I thought to myself, "This is what they mean by 'couple goals'."

As Hukum's eyes locked onto mine, I could see the desire and love burning within them. His gaze drifted to my lips, and I knew exactly what he was thinking. "Not now, Hukum," I said, laughing, "my makeup will get ruined."

Hukum chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and replied, "I'll make it up to you later, my love."

We descended the stairs, hand in hand, to find Maasi Maa and Kakisa waiting for us with warm smiles. The men of the family had already arrived at the venue, except for Naksh Banna, who would escort us there. I couldn't help but notice that Naksh Banna seemed a bit subdued, lost in his own thoughts. I wondered if he was truly okay or just pretending to be.

We settled into the car, with Naksh Banna taking the driver's seat and Hukum sitting beside him. Maasi Maa, Kakisa, and I occupied the backseat, with me seated between them, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

As the car began to move, I gazed out the window, watching the cityscape unfold before us. The journey was brief, and soon we arrived at the venue. Everyone except me stepped out of the car, chatting and laughing with each other.

I remained seated, waiting for either Maasi Maa or Kakisa to give me permission to exit the car. As the new bride, I was mindful of the traditional customs and protocols that governed my behavior. I didn't want to inadvertently offend anyone or draw unnecessary attention to myself.

Maasi Maa turned to me, a gentle smile on her face. "Chaitanya, beta, you can come out now. We're all waiting for you." I smiled, feeling a sense of relief, and carefully stepped out of the car, with Kakisa and Maasi Maa by my side.
