It's been about two weeks we went on the date and from that day it has become our ritual to talk daily even if it's just for a minute or two and the feeling of sharing everything that happened during the day cannot be described in words like I feel immense calmness and happiness after sharing it with my favorite person and the fact that he is listening to me.

And now today it's a weekend and dadisa has been asking me to visit them once so I can choose what I have to wear on the engagement day and honestly I am going today just because last night when we were talking I asked him if he has already selected his sherwani for engagement and he did so now I'm the only one who is late. So finally I've decided to go to jaipur today and come back tomorrow evening.

I got ready and hukum insisted on dropping me to the airport. I received his call asking me to come downstairs one thing that i have noticed is that he never comes to my apartment I don't know what's the issue. Shrugging the thought I took my luggage and went downstairs.

Hi hukum I chirped 

Hello hukum he said smiling and oh my god he looks cute while smiling other than that I only have seen him with his usual stoic face but I'm fortunate enough yo see him smiling and giving expressions more often.

I went towards him and took him in a hug and he reciprocated the hug but I always feel that he is restraining from hugging me properly maybe to not make me uncomfortable but who will tell this idiot of mine that I already have started feeling for him.

I boarded the flight and in the next two hours I reached jaipur. I came out of the airport and called mummy.

Hello Mummy I said 

Hello Beta Kaisi hai she asked 
(How are you)

Mai achi hu mummy aap kaise ho I asked 
(I'm good, how are you )

Hum bhi thik hai beta she said 
(we're also good daughter)

Mummy main jaipur main hu abhi to airport pe hu to aap btao ki main ghar pe aau ya direct shop par mile I asked 
(Mummy i'm in jaipur tell me should I come to our home or we meet directly at the shop )

Aaj wapas thodi jayegi Mummy asked 
(Are you going back today )

Nhi kal shaam ki flight hai I said
(No I've a flight tomorrow)

Thik hai phir shop par milte hai tujhe itni dur nhi aana pdega mummy said 
(Okay then we'll meet at the shop you'll not have to commute twice)

Okay jaldi aana I said 
(Okay come soon)

It took me an hour to reach the shop mummy decided due to traffic I went inside the shop where mummy and dadisa were already sitting and a lot of poshaks were placed before them.

I sat with them and started looking at the poshaks but I was looking for a colour that the shopkeeper was not showing so I stood up and went towards the poshak and asked him to show that one.

He opened the dress and kept it in front of us but it's design was not looking pretty so mummy asked him to show more designs but even after struggling for almost three hours we could not come to a conclusion. * Typical Indian girlies *

Why are you so adamant to have this colour it looks so dull dadisa said 

Dadisa it's not dull I said 

But you should choose some more vibrant colours she said 

Dadisa please naa it's my engagement, please pretty lady let me choose the colour and you can choose the design I said 

Okay then I can't even say no it's going to be your day I want my princess to be happy but the work on poshak will be a little heavy okay She asked 

Okay okay I said excited *Deep Sighing*

I am getting mad just for this colour I kept sitting in that shop until dadisa said yes and why I wanted that colour just because my dear future husband is going to wear the same colour safa( Head Turban) and I wanted us to twin on our engagement day and if I tell this to my family then they are definitely going to kill me with their teasings so I decided to be obdurate and finally I won.

WIth a happy face and heart I came out of the shop only to hear mummy saying where do you think you're going 

Home I answered 

Beta we still have a lot to shop only your engagement poshak is finalised now its turn for your jewellery lets go to soni ji's shop (jeweller's shop) She said 

I'm tired I said 

Okay then we will come next time then you'll also have to come and tomorrow you have to buy a few other things as well Dadisa said and she changed my mind successfully 

Okay let's go I said 

Next we went to the jewellers shop and these ladies just don't know any time limit its been two hours we're sitting here and finalising what I have to wear on my day. They even have selected a few jewellaries for my wedding like come on guys my wedding is after a year but no one can make them understand this so I just gave up without even trying.

And finally the ladies decided everything and we went back home. I entered my room only to get shocked because a lot of parcels were placed their the corner but I've not even ordered anything.

I went downstairs and asked mummy what was kept in those parcels and she said the stuff for my engagement.
My family has literally gone mad for my engagement they have already bought so many things and still wants me go for shopping again.

Ahhhh where am I stuck I thought in my mind and the same time my phone rang. No one let's me be in peace for a minute I thought in my mind and looked at my phone but all my anger vanished in thin air looking at the caller ID.

It was hukum I thought he won't call me today as I'm in Jaipur and he is kind of introvert and would not want my family to know that he calls me not even just my family he wouldn't want anyone to know about us growing close and I don't want it either because nazar is real and I don't want to happen anything to us or our relationship so I'll also not tell this to anyone I've not even posted our pictures on instagram.

I attended the call and we talked for about ten minutes as I was yawning non stop and he said that we can talk later I should rest now as I'm tired.

I changed my clothes and slept like a log because shopping is one hell of a task.
