Niki's POV
Today was the day.
I mean who was I kidding, who am I to say 'today's the day' like I had a big date waiting for me in the dorm lobby.
I sighed. Excatly. No one.

It was 6am, don't ask why I was awake, I couldn't sleep. Knowing your crush was with someone made it impossible to sleep.

Should I just skip the Winter Fling altogether?

Sunoo hyung's pouting lips and puppy eyes filled up my mind and I shook them away with as much force as I could muster.

Looks like I was going anyway.

What did he see in Sunghoon hyung? Was he just one of those guys that liked Sunghoon hyung because he was handsome? I would too if it was because of that but...they rarely hung out or talked.

Well, maybe the did, but I was oblivious to that.

My heart clenched at the thought of the two going on mini hangouts way more than Sunoo hyung and I did.

But I couldn't be thinking like that. I wasn't as good as Sunghoon hyung, it was a fact. Was was so great about my features or height? Nobody had asked my out in my 19 years of living anyway.

I dragged myself out of my room and plopped myself down on the sofa, where Jake hyung was watching a k-drama.
He turned to face me when I sighed, and cocked an eyebrow until I faced him back.

"Do you think I would stand chance with Sunoo hyung?"

He's stare softened into a smile, and he patted my shoulder. "You would've been an amazing boyfriend."
I kept quiet at that thought. Me and Sunoo hyung..as a couple? That sounded really nice.

But it would never been true. I hung my head low as my hair fell over my eyes.

"Hey, don't be so down...maybe Sunoo will change his mind!" I heard Jake hyung suggest, being the optimist he is.
I stared at his from where my knees were, and gave him a look.

"Hyung, I love you, but have you not seen the stares they give each other? It literally looked like they wanted to make out right there, in the canteen," I deadpanned, while Jake hyung sucked in his lips in a guilty manner.

"Okay fine, maybe you do have flaws," he stated and my eyes rolled itself.

"Oh, now you want to be my personal stylist or something?" I asked sarcastically.

But Jake hyung just started studying me, completely ignoring his k-drama and his eyes brightened when I raised an eyebrow.

"You need a makeover," he blurted out.

"Excuse me?"

"Shh, now come on, get up. Put on something nicer, and we're going," he pulled me up and pushed me to my room.

"Hey, hey! Where are we going?!" I exclaimed, as Jake hyung threw me a sweater.

"The salon. Now put that on," he instructed.

"I ain't going anywhere with you bruh."

Jake hyung stopped in his tracks and turned around 180, so his deadpanning could reach my soul.

"Do you want to impress Sunoo or not?" He asked seriously, and I fidgeted with the sweater's sleeves.

"I want him to like me for who I am.." I trailed off.

"I'll buy you donuts."

"Okay, let's go!" I threw the sweater over my head and skidded out to the door, while Jake hyung laughed behind me.
