Even with the earlier weekends amazing sleepover, Niki and I still hadn't come to talking terms.
We'd say hi here and there, but I really wished we would joke around like we used to.
Heck, I'd even let him call me mintass if that's what he wanted.
I sighed, and Jungwon, who was beside me, gave me his fifth side eye of the day.
"Can you shut up?" He threatened from behind his book, "I'm trying to read."
"No, I won't because-oh my god!" I sank under the table as a specific tall maknae came walking into the classroom, and Jungwon stared at me, his eyebrows pinched close.
"Jungwon hyung!" Niki came over and I shrunk under the table so he couldn't see me, "do you know where's Jay hyung? We're supposed to be having practice soon."
"No, sorry. Maybe he's already there?" Jungwon suggested and I could practically x ray vision through the table that Niki was nodding.
He turned to leave and when he fully turned the corner, I sat back on my seat.
"What was that?" Jungwon questioned.
"Ughhh, my mind isn't thinking straight!" I groaned and knocked my head on the table, "I can't even look him in the face."
"You're embarrassed in front of Niki now? Damn, I should tell your future children about this," Jungwon tsked and I smacked his head.
"Children?! What the heck?!" I shrieked and he started laughing.
I rolled my eyes and went to scroll on my phone.
