Taranto Harbor, Sardegna Empire

June 27, 1942

11: 00 PM

After the fire was put down at Taranto Harbor, but the area where the Fuel where stored still a blazed. Cmdr. Marco and the rest Sardegnan Shipgirl are having a heated debate with Iron Blood Shipgirls, about their next move, without the Siren Weather Tower. The whole operation against the Modern Kansens are useless.

"What should we do now? our means of denying their aerial assets are now in ruins." Vittorio said.

"What do you think will be the Il Duce reaction, if the attack was carried out by two or one Submarine?" Cmdr. Marco asked.

"I have I feeling he might not like it. He's the kind of man with pride, but lacked the confidence." Littorio said, as she looked at the devastated Fuel Depot.

One Iron Blood Soldiers walks toward them while holding a deferent bullet casing. "Ma'am. You need to take a look at this."

Friedrich grabs the 5.56mm Bullet casing and .50 cal. Bullet casing, and analyzed both bullets. "this bullet is quite small for a riffle, but the advantage is more bullet in their clips."

"Actually, Ma'am it was magazine." The Soldier showed the standard M4 Mag at her.

"it's quite lighter than our STG 44 and have the same magazine capacity." Friedrich commented.

"So, they go with smaller bullet for magazine capacity?" Mainz ponders.

"Nein." Friedrich shakes her head.

"What is it this time?" Cmdr. Marco asks.

"They chooses smaller bullets for accuracy in longer ranges, rather than anything."

"No wonder why our deaths are so high, because of their accuracy." Littorio said, as she looked at their death toll.

Then a black car with iron Blood flag make a brake at the entrance at the harbor Peter Strasser and 4 Soldier disembarked with urgency, they didn't even have a time to parked the car, as they rushed inside the Harbor.

Peter Strasser took-out a piece of paper and stops in front of Friedrich. "Ma'am, orders from HQ."

The newly implemented Binary Codes cost a lot of time to decipher, even for the experienced Enigma Operator to decipher the binary code. So the message takes a whole hour to decipher and another hour to send to avoid getting decoded by Allied decoders.

Friedrich took the piece of paper and unfolded it, and starts reading it. "Another Mission, huh?"

"What does it says?" Mainz asks.

Friedrich smile. "One of the Modern Kansen is tasked to escort a convoy of Merchant Ships in the Mediterranean Sea to supply Gibraltar and Alexandria. He'll be escorted by Royal Navy, and our job is to capture him... alive for information."

"How are you going to do that? if one of them is powerful or even surpassed PR Ships." Cmdr. Marco asks with a doubt.

"Oh, Dear... did you forgot.... Mainz and I are PR Ships. We just need to overwhelm their defenses, and it's over." Friedrich said with a face of satisfaction.

Then another car with Sardegna Empire's flag stops at the entrance of the harbor gates, Roma and 3 other Soldiers disembarked and runs towards them.
