"So, that's the Royal Isle?" Lafayette asks, as he saw a silhouette in a distance.
"Yes. That is the Royal Isle." Hood said, she looked at the island's silhouette.
Lafayette and the rest of Royal Navy Shipgirls that is detached in the Pacific returned home after the Sakura Empire threat diminished. Lafayette and his Division was sent to provide Convoy cover from Iron Blood U-Boats and Siren Submarine threat in the Atlantic, currently they are escorting a Convoy of Ships consisting of 100 Liberty Ships delivering cargo of ammunition and supplies from Eagle Union to Royal Isle.
Unicorn and Javelin wave their hands in the air as they entered the Harbor, Royal Resident wave back, as they saw the Fleet or Royal Navy Ships returned home. At the Harbor Military Parades and Media Personnel are waiting for them. The parades and warm welcome is not for the Royal Navy Shipgirls, but also for the arrival of one of the Modern Kansen.
"Are they always like this?" he asked, as he backs-off a bit to avoid the flashing cameras and flying kisses.
Hood chuckles as she saw a scared expression plastered all over his face. "Don't be afraid... they always do that that, every time a fleet of ships returned from deployment."
He looks at her with alarmed look in his face. "Are you sure?"
Hood nods. "Yes, I'm sure about it..." she then smiles at him.
Javelin taps him at the back, he jolts and look behind. "Don't worry, we will be your guide to the Base." Unicorn behind her nods.
"Okay.... Please don't do that again." He said, as he pants from the jump-scare.
Hood laughs at him for a moment and fixes her posture and address them. "Alright... everyone, listen up. Don't let yourselves got distracted by Reporter's questions."
A minute passed by and the Shipgirls docked at the Harbor. Battlecruiser Hood is currently being stormed by Reporters and Journalist trying get some news and photos. As Hood is walking down in gangplank prepared by Harbor Manjuus for their arrival.
MP's and Police are barricading the storming media hungry for news scoop. Lafayette is following her behind covering his face with his hands from the flashing cameras.
Hood turns around to check if his alright. "Are you alright, Sir Lafayette?"
"Yes. But, those Camera flashes are too bright." He responds.
"You'll get used to it." Javelin said with reassuring voice.
"Yes. You'll get used to it, Unicorn is also afraid of the camera flashes, but Big-Sis Illustrious help me overcome this fear." Unicorn spoke with her innocent eyes looking at him.
He nods in acknowledgement and nods, he then returned his attention to Hood and spoke. "It's alright, I can do this." He said with confidence in his voice.
As they reached the concrete foundation of the Harbor a Man wearing a Royal Navy Uniform lowered his head and greets them. "It's good to see you again, Lady Hood."
"It's quite a pleasure to see you again, Cmdr. Laurence." Hood greets him back.
"and this our guest, Sir Lafayette." Hood gestures to her right.
