CHAPTER 95: Acceptance

Siren Research Facility

William walks in the hallway of the Facility with each step he took reverberated in a long hallway, the walls and ceiling are littered with bullet holes from the previous battle that occurred in the past hour.

Union and Royal Army Soldiers disposed of the remains of the Humanoid Sirens, they collected the piece of once known as Humanoid Siren. The chopped-up bodies were like a scene in every horror movie or any massacred movie.

He did have to ask who did such things because he already knew the person who would do as such butchering this Humanoid Siren without mercy.

He looks down at the floor, the floor is like a pool of Siren Blood and used-up empty bullet casings. His reflection can be seen in the yellow blood along with the dim light that illuminated the room.

"Damn... I felt like walking in a Slaughterhouse." William muttered to himself, as the whole room was littered with Siren Corpse and blood.

As he puffs some smoke one of the Soldiers from the Eagle Union approaches him and leads him to where his experience is needed.

"Miss Laffey is waiting at your arrival, Doctor." The Soldier said.

William's brows furrowed at being called 'Doctor', the Soldier had a slight shudder as he noticed his brows furrowed.

"Right.... Lead the way." He said as he hid his annoyance.

"Ye-Yes sir, right this way." The Soldier leads the way, and the two traverse at the room with Soldiers disposing of Siren's corpses.

At the entrance to what looks like an entrance to a Laboratory, if we ignore the broken window glass and broken glass doors.

William mutters as he had a bad feeling about the Laboratory. "I hope you didn't destroy everything inside, I'm gonna had a hard headache connecting all the remains like a goddamn jigsaw puzzle."

William is afraid that Laffey-200 rampaged all the way through the Laboratory, and all the specimens and the Siren Tech or experiment they could have researched to learn more about the Sirens. By looking in the entrance of the Lab, he's expecting something far worse than dead corpses.

But to his surprise, he saw the Laboratory was unharmed from Laffey-200's rampage, the Elite-Team of Manjuus really did their job of taking the Laboratory without destroying a thing.

William glanced around at the various Siren experimentations, his attention was caught the shelve with jars of goo.

He stops and takes a glance, he didn't have to open the jar to even confirm the content as he already knew what was inside.

"Huh, so that's how it is...." William muttered to himself.

The Soldier that accompanied him asked. "Umm.... What do you mean by that, Doctor?"

William had a mischievous smile on his face and then placed his hand on the Soldier's shoulder. "The things you shouldn't have to know, Young Man."

The Soldier shivers at the dark aura and creepy smile plastered on William's face. He had no choice but to stop questioning there, the message was clear in his ears.

Hidden Room

William once again glances around like a nerd being sent to the DARPA Research Facility, he can't control himself anymore and starts doing 'Nerd Stuff' with all the scientific things.
