Clemenceau estate
July 2, 1942
9:00 AM
Clemenceau looked at her room's balcony that is overlooking the whole port. She stared at the horizon and gazed at the American Frigate sailing near by the shores of Casablanca. She rejected both Azur Lane and Crimson Axis offers to avoid getting dragged to their conflict.
She pities the Kid for straight-up declining the offer, even he promised protection and trade deals with Eagle Union and the rest of Azur Lane Alliance. She sighs inwardly as she stared at the Frigate sailing.
Le Malin knocked to inform her. She then gave the permission to enter Le Malin enters and slowly closed the door behind her.
"Mistress Clemenceau..." Le Malin spoked to tell her report.
Clemenceau slowly walked towards her desk and sits, she glances at her to tell her to continue.
Le Malin looked at the report paper in her right hand, she takes a breath as she reads the report. "Our Scout Planes spotted a Fleet of Crimson Axis Shipgirls entering our Territorial Waters and heading here at Port City Casablanca."
Clemenceau clasped both of her hands closer to her face and mumbles. "Crimson Axis is really that determined to sends an Invasion Force to seize the strategic position."
"What now, Miss Clemenceau?" Le Malin asks, as she was concern what Iron Blood might do to them.
Clemenceau held her temple, and groans. "Evacuate the town folks, ready the coastal batteries.... And ready yourself. We're going to face them." She felt distress as she said those words.
Le Malin clinch a fist as she held herself from quivering, fighting Iron Blood Destroyers is a thing she can handle. But, the two of them facing a fleet on their own is impossible.
"Yes, Ma'am." She responded with a shaky voice. She slowly opens the door and leaves.
Clemenceau leans back to her chair and looked-up in the ceiling, where it was painted with angels soaring to the clouds.
"I rather die in battle, than being a puppet to Iron Blood." She muttered to herself.
~Present~
Regensburg rides her Dragon Rigging at the direction of Lafayette's Raiders. Her Dragon flew in subsonic speed, but faster than any propeller aircraft and existing 1940's jet-plane.
The adrenaline of fast flight increased her tenacity, as she stared at that direction. She then noticed two rockets is heading to her direction.
'A Rocket???.... no. that might be a Missile...' She thought as she looked at it heading to her direction. She then waves her hand to the right to let her Dragon to maneuver at the right.
But the two Missiles followed her and her Dragon. She squinted to the two Missile, she confirms it's one of the Anti-Air Missile.
"Anti-Air Guns... FIRE!" She ordered, as all of the 105mm SK C/33 AA Gun Mount swivels at the direction of the two SM-2 Missile.
Her Dragon looks like one of the WW2 Bombers with all the lead coming out from the top, side and bottom. Her whole Dragon rigging sprayed more bullets than any AC-130 Ghost Rider conducting Close Air-Support to the ground.
