Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer and Constellation Class Frigate are cruising to the vast ocean gleaming under the sun, as the two Ship basked at the tropical sun light. The two vessel leave a trail of wake at the salty water, as it sailed to intercept an Unknown fleet heading to the direction of the Strike Group.
Their Mission primary is to not let any of the 20 Unknown Vessels got closer to the Strike Group. Their secondary mission is to identify the nationality of the Unknown Vessels or even to find-out if they were humans or aliens.
Lucas is at his Ship's Armory gearing-up in up incoming interception, if shit hits the fan. He puts-on his Kevlar vest and loaded it with extra magazine, as he adjusts his radio communication at the strap at the vest. He holsters his M1911 on his right thigh and grabs his helmet and M27 IAR, as he heads to the Ship Bridge.
He then sat on the CO's seat and plays "Thunderstruck" on his onboard Radio System, as his Ship cruises at the speed of 20 knots. Meowfficers and Manjuus inside the bridge vibes in to the song. Every beat of the bass and guitar, as the waves splashes on the flare bow of the Destroyer in its cruising speed.
At the bridge of the Constellation Class Frigate, Lafayette could hear the song blasting from Lucas Ship's intercoms. He knows the song were always played-up by the older Senior Officers who had a listen to it.
He then contacts Lucas through the comms. "Dude that's a decade's year old song. Why you're still playing it?"
Lucas reply's in somewhat annoyed to what he just said. "Listen here junior, it's not about the age, it's about the hype." Lucas said it with a hint of pride in his voice.
Lafayette annoyed being called junior. "Could you please stop calling me 'junior'. I know the song was fire back in the day, but come on... its 2055, play something new. And fresh."
(Constellation Class Frigate always being called in the Military community as Little Burkes, Mini Burkes and Budgetary Burkes. To be fair they were like the down scaled Arleigh Burke Destroyers after the Flight II's receives more VLS Cells that the first batch of Frigates.)
"What do you want me to play in my onboard radio player.... K-Pop?... men these days, are soft and weak!" A hint of anger can be heard in Lucas voice.
"So, you're telling me, I'm soft and weak - Because I'm a kid. Hah? Lafayette replies angry being mentioned weak.
"You're the one who said it. Not me, Kiddo..." Lucas tease him even more.
Lafayette yells at the comms. "Damn it! Your so mean!" He looks down on his ship Control panel as tears drops from both in his eyes.
Lucas listens at comms, as he can hear him crying through the comms. Lucas tries to talk to Lafayette like a big brother, and give him some word of advice.
