CHAPTER 16: Sexy Ninjas

Office Building, Pearl Harbor

June 7, 1942

10:30 PM

Adm. Nimitz and Adm. Philips are planning their counter offensive against the Sakura Empire fleet. They just heard the news that Akagi is out of action at the Battle of Midway and Mirror Sea.

"We need to attack now! The Kido Butai is weakened. This is the time to attack... we might not have a chance like this!" Adm. Philips yells.

Adm. Nimitz retorted back. "We cannot send any of our Shipgirls to a Sakuran controlled waters, we send double of the Shipgirls that return to Pearl, and half are in Bremerton, Washington for extensive repairs. We have no fleet big enough to sail in Sakuran Waters... to be uncontested."

Adm. Philips spoke in low voice yet serious. "How about the newly fleet that joins Azur Lane? We just need them to provide air-cover without them getting involved in the fight."

Adm. Nimitz looks at Adm. Philips dead serious. "We can't. It's a part of the deal, we cannot break it. They join us because they only wanted to fight the Sirens and not to get involve with the Crimson Axis."

As the atmosphere in the room hit-up about the discussion about the Modern Kansen. The door in the office opens and Cmdr. Thomas came in holding a report papers.

Cmdr. Thomas greets the two Admirals with a salute and starts reading the report. "Admiral we just received a report from D.C. They wanted to have an extensive talk with the Modern Kansens that joins the Azur Lane Alliance. June 9 they will meet with Faction Leaders and Flagships at the White House to discuss the war with the Sirens and Crimson Axis."

Adm. Nimitz spoke. "So they wanted the Modern Kansens that recently joins the Azur Lane Alliance to fight the Crimson Axis?'

Cmdr. Thomas answers. "Seems like it Admiral."

Adm. Nimitz slump back on his chair he held his temple and grunts. "Fucking politicians."

Adm. Philips asks. "What do you think will happen, if they refuse what D.C. offers? "

The three Naval Officers exchange glances, as they knew D.C. is not good at taking "no" for an answer to their offers.

Any Politician in any world or time would use this opportunity to gain advantage in any conflict. And this the reason why Enterprise-80 refused to join the fight against the Crimson Axis even though they were the same carbon copy of the Axis back on Earth. She has more problems than getting involve in this worlds politics.

Harbor Dock

Enterprise-80 explains to Enterprise-6 about her predecessor's combat history and all the subsequent accidents throughout its service life.

Enterprise-6 spoke. "So, you're telling me that every time your nation builds another USS Enterprise. The steel from the previous USS Enterprise is being recycled and used over again. And this will continue onward through-out the next century?"

Enterprise-80 nods and spoke. "They also considered me to have my own separate Class of Carriers in my planning phase. But, Military Budget dictates and now.... I'm in the Ford Class."
