Anya's POV:

I opened my eyes feeling very daizy. There was a doctor, Austin in front of me and beside him was Shanaya. Wait, why is she crying.

" How are you feeling, Miss Anya?"

" My whole body is paining." I said while groaning.

" Saw it coming."

" Now you shall have rest and Miss Shanaya you can talk to her for a minute not more than it. Abd remember what I told you." He said while going out.

Shanaya hugged me very tightly, she kissed my forehead.

" My baby. I was so scared." She said while crying.

" Why are you crying, I am ok?"

She wiped her tears. " They are uncontrollable."

" Well, what happened? Did we won the tournament?"

She nodded and said," Armaan played the match and he was the main reason why India won. Everyone was praising him."

I smiled.

" Now you should rest, okay?" And I layed.

After sometime, I woke up. Shanaya called the doctor. And the doctor arrived.

" Okay, Miss Anya. Now do you feel better?"

I nodded.

" I have a very important thing to discuss with you. The thing maybe a little shocking so tell me should I tell you the thing or wait till you feel better."

" You can tell me."

" Miss Anya, do you remember what I said before scheduling your surgery, that you shouldn't be stressed at all before the surgery."

I nodded.

" Maybe you heard things different, and overstressed yourself." I lowered my eyes.

" You know what date is today?" I shook my head.

" It's 9 April. You woke ten days later, after your surgery. " My eyes widened.

Weren't I supposed to wake up after a day of surgery.

" Yes, you were supposed to wake up after a day of surgery but when you followed the protocols but you didn't."

My head is spinning.

" Your surgery was supposed to help you in recovery of your legs but instead it did the opposite thing. It damaged your body. I first only told you that you will be getting high dose medicines in your surgery and you should be very fit mentally and physically so that your body can handle them. But you were unfit mentally, you were highly stressed and your mind couldn't take it so it did the opposite reaction and gave a unhealthy outcome."

" For now maybe you will never be able to walk and will have to take the help of wheelchair. Not only this, you are going to be hospitalized for a month and then also I can't say anything about your recovery. It will take a lot of time for your recovery. And I am making myself very clear this time, do not stress yourself if you want to recover." He emphasized the words 'do not stress yourself' a little more.

He was going to leave but I stopped him.

" Will I never be able to walk again?"

" Miss Anya, do you believe in miracle?" I shook my head.

" So start believing because the chances of your walking is 0.001%. But if I tell you accordingly to my experience, nothing is impossible in the world, miracles happen but only with 1% people who have the capability to turn the table. But currently looking at you, I will say if you come in that 1% you will be able to walk but if you come in the 99% then you should stop expecting something. No matter how many best machines and technologies you use, if you don't will to live then no one can save you and if you want to live then no matter if you don't have any machines or technologies, you will live. So find the answer in yourself." He went after saying this.
