Anya's POV:
It's too shocking to see myself dressed as a bride standing in the mirror of a room, which is not mine.
Life sometimes turns upside downwards, and you don't even realise it, until it hits you hard.
A month ago, two dates were taken out for the marriage, first was after one month and other was after two months. I insisted on the first one, because I had a lot on my plate for the next month. The most important one is our new brand launch, from our I meant Armaan and mine. As it was a big event, it would be challenging to do everything side by side, arranging the event and the launch. And thankfully, everyone agreed.
I realised I was getting married, when I kept my foot back in India after spending three weeks in Paris, apparently I was too busy to remember I was going to get married.
After that we had functions, in which less than 200 people were called. And all the time, we never really interacted it was just taking glances of each other and like this I became his wife.
To be honest, everything, when I say everything I mean everything there was so perfect, the way I have dreamed but nothing at that moment felt what I thought I would be feeling when I will be wedding him. There was no feeling, no emotions at all.
I saw myself in the mirror, I had vermillion on my forehead and nuptial chain around my neck, now I was not Miss Anya Yadav, I was Mrs. Anya Armaan Malhotra.
I remembered when Armaan was applying vermillion some of it dropped on my nose. And I remembered, how in those serials it means the husband will love his wife a lot but that was not true.
I looked at my hand and saw the colour of my mehendi, it was so dark that if anyone who doesn't know the circumstances of our wedding will think, how much Armaan loves me.
We also had our ring ceremony, the one in which who ever win takes the ring out first wins. The first round I won, the second Armaan and the third I won. Our hands touched each other making me breathless and lose focus on the game but I controlled myself quite nicely. Best part was when Armaan's parents and Anjali both were on my side, leaving Armaan alone.
Armaan's father said," If I lost from my wife then my son should also lose from his wife."
Armaan's mother said," As I won so I think my daughter in law should also win. And it would be better if everything is in control of Anya rather than Armaan."
Anjali said," Anya should win because it would be fun to see Armaan following each and every order of his wife."
Funny of them to think this way. First I took use to believe in all this stupidity but not now, after what life has shown me.
The room door opened, I didn't turned my head, but released my breath when I heard the sound of anklet.
I turned to see Anjali carrying a box.
" It's a wedding gift from my side and this from Shanaya's side." She said while passing me with mischievous smile.
I was going to open it, when she suddenly stopped me." No, open it when I leave." I nodded and kept it aside.
" Thank god, you came, help me in taking this off." I said to her, I was already tired with all this.
" Shouldn't you be asking this to my brother?" She teased me.
I glared at her while blushing.
" I am thirsty." I said.
" Let me get you water." She started going out.
I saw the jug of water at the drawer kept beside the bed.
" Why are you going out, when there is water inside the room?" I asked.
