I stood frozen with fear, hovering my finger over the trigger, as I waited for the figure to reveal itself from behind the tinted glass door.

"It's me, Justin," he said, his voice low and urgent. "But you shouldn't be here."

I relaxed hearing the familiar voice. It belonged to Lucius— Cole's father.

Any sane person wouldn't dare to enter the premises of OCT without an identity. But I had to take that risk if I have to know their next move. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart.

The Order of Crimson Throne, or OCT for short, was the most dangerous and secretive organization on our planet, which was run by the most powerful kingdom—Nefaria. It consisted of the highest rank commanders and leaders of our kingdom.

"You'll make your decision today, right?" I asked Lucius and he nodded grimly.

While the whole Nefaria is busy celebrating the crowning ceremony of Prince, the destiny of the worlds was being written by a bunch of hungry dogs who live for power.

Does humanity even exist anymore?

"I'll be in the basement, just set this microphone for me, will you?" I pleaded. Frowning, he took coin sized microphone.

"I've no clue how you can surpass so much security. You're just seventeen, son. You shouldn't be doing this."

But I couldn't let it stop me.

"Sorry." I apologized, before vanishing to the safest place I could find.

Safety was always the top priority, but it was also a double-edged sword. If anyone got their hands on the recordings of what was discussed here, the whole world would turn against our kingdom. Hence, there were no security cameras.

The security measures were top-notch, with guards posted at every turn. However, I was an exception to the rule.

No one seemed to know how I had managed to get past the guards, or what my true intentions were.

It must've been a little more than six hours since I've been sitting here, in this cold basement full of instruments and weapons and black screens on the wall.

Until now, we were worried that the circumstances being created might causing bleeding of realities, causing destruction but the truth is even more sick.
