As the dinner conversation flowed, Yn's brother, sister, and cousins couldn't contain their excitement about meeting Taehyung. They bombarded him with questions about his music, performances, and interests, and Taehyung patiently answered each one, signing autographs and taking selfies with his new fans.
Meanwhile, little Chikoo, Yn's nephew, had taken a special liking to Taehyung. He giggled and played in Taehyung's arms, who was happy to oblige, making funny faces and playing peek-a-boo with the little boy. Yn watched with a mix of emotions, her eyes shining with happiness, but also tinged with sadness.
She couldn't help but notice that Taehyung hadn't spoken to her all ,not since their conversation yesterday. She tried to brush off the feeling, focusing on the joy around her, but she couldn't shake off the sense of unease.
On the other side of the table, Yn's parents were engaged in a heartwarming conversation with Taehyung's parents. They discussed their children's relationship, sharing stories and memories, and getting to know each other better. Yn's parents were overjoyed to see their daughter happy, and accepted by Taehyung's family, despite her past.
"We're so glad you've accepted Yn for who she is," Yn's mother said, her voice filled with emotion. "we're grateful you've accepted her past, and the fact that she was previously married."
Taehyung's mother smiled warmly. "We believe everyone deserves a second chance. And we've seen how much Taehyung cares for Yn. We're happy to welcome her into our family, and support her in every way we can."
As the dinner drew to a close, the two families came together, united in their love and acceptance for each other. Yn and Taehyung shared a glance, but it was fleeting, and Yn couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. She wondered if things would ever go back to normal between them, or if she had lost him forever. As dinner came to a close, Yn's parents stood up, smiling warmly at Taehyung and his parents. "We can't let you leave," Yn's mother said, her voice firm but gentle. "You must stay with us, not in some hotel. We have plenty of room, and we'd love to have you."
Taehyung's parents looked at each other, seemingly hesitant, but Taehyung himself nodded instantly. "Yes, of course," he said, his voice smooth as silk. "We'd be happy to stay with you."
Yn's parents beamed, clearly delighted. "Wonderful!" Yn's father exclaimed. "We'll show you to your rooms."
But as they began to clear the table, Taehyung's eyes met Yn's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Yn could see the hurt still lingering in his eyes, but also a deep longing. She knew he was still upset with her, but he couldn't stay away.
As they walked to their rooms, Taehyung discreetly pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Hey, it's me," he said quietly. "I need you to shift our luggage to Yn's house. Yes, all of it. We're staying here now."
His bodyguards and manager nodded, accustomed to Taehyung's sudden changes in plans. They quickly got to work, transferring the luggage to Yn's house while Taehyung and his parents settled in.
As they unpacked, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He was still hurt by Yn's words, but being around her, seeing her smile and laugh, made him forget all about it. He knew he had to confront her, to clear the air, but for now, he just wanted to be near her. Yn, too, felt a mix of emotions. She was happy to have Taehyung and his parents staying with them, but she knew she had hurt him deeply. She wanted to apologize, to make things right, but she didn't know where to start. As the night drew to a close, Taehyung and Yn found themselves alone in the living room, the tension between them palpable. They both knew they had to talk, to clear the air, but neither knew where to begin.Taehyung's gaze lingered on Yn's face, his eyes burning with intensity. Then, he turned and walked away, leaving Yn standing alone in the silence. The sound of his footsteps echoed through the room, a stark contrast to the heavy stillness that remained between them. Yn was left alone, lost.
Ana burst into the hallway, grabbing Yn's arm. "Come on, girl, we need to fix this!" she exclaimed. Yn tried to resist, but Ana was determined. They reached Taehyung's room, and Ana pushed the door open, dragging Yn inside. Taehyung looked up, his eyes flashing with surprise. "Ana, what are you doing?" he asked, his voice firm. Ana stood tall, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "You two need to talk, and I'm not leaving until you do!" she declared, before releasing Yn and stepping back, leaving the two alone once again.
The air was thick with tension as Taehyung and Yn stood facing each other, the only sound the heavy silence between them. Taehyung's eyes bore into Yn's, his expression unreadable. Yn's heart pounded, her mind racing with thoughts, but neither spoke, the silence stretching out like an eternity.
Taehyung's voice cut through the silence, his words firm. "I don't want to talk to you, Yn. And tell Ana to mind her own business. This is between us." He turned away, dismissing her, his body language clear: he was done with the conversation, and with Yn, for now.
Yn's voice barely above a whisper, "Taehyung, I'm so sorry... I was wrong to doubt you. I shouldn't have trusted Yoona's lies and those pictures. I should have believed in you, in us. Can you ever forgive me?" She fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face, her heart heavy with regret.
Yn's voice cracked, "Please, Taehyung, talk to me like before. I need you, I need your smile, your laughter, your warmth. I feel lost without you. I was blind, I made a mistake, but I see now. Come back to me, please. I promise to never doubt you again." Tears streamed down her face.
Yn's voice trembled, "You changed me, Taehyung. You melted my cold heart, made me soft and vulnerable. And when I finally opened up, you pushed me away. I thought our love was strong enough, but I guess I was wrong. Now, I'm left with just a shattered heart."Taehyung's expression darkened, his voice thundering, "Get out! Call Ana and tell her to open the damn door! Now!" He glared at Yn, his eyes blazing with anger. "You think I'm still the same person after what you did? You think I'll just forgive and forget? Leave, Yn. Just leave!" The message on his phone seemed to have ignited a fire within him, his patience finally snapping.
Yn's hand reached out to touch Taehyung's arm, but he flinched, his eyes flashing with anger. He pushed her hard, his palms shoving her away. "Don't touch me!" he growled, his voice low and menacing. Yn stumbled back, shocked, her eyes wide with confusion and hurt. "Taehyung, what's wrong?" she pleaded, but he just turned away, his jaw clenched in fury.
Yn's voice trembled as she spoke to Ana, "Ana, please... open the door. Taehyung wants me to leave. I don't know what's happening, he's so angry... just open the door, please." Ana's voice was calm on the other end, "Okay, Yn, I'm opening it. Come out, I'm here for you."
Taehyung's expression faltered, his anger dissipating as he saw the hurt in Yn's eyes. He felt a pang of regret for pushing her away, his heart still raw from the pain she had caused. He took a step forward, but Yn was already gone, the door closing behind her.
Taehyung's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. "I need to find out what's true," he muttered to himself, staring at the phone. "Those messages, the pictures... was it all a lie?" He felt a surge of determination, his fingers flying across the screen as he started to investigate, seeking answers.
Taehyung tried to shake off the thoughts, but Yn's tear-stained face haunted him. He went to freshen up, hoping to clear his mind, but her image lingered. As he lay in bed, he couldn't sleep, her crying face etched in his mind. He tossed and turned, his heart heavy with regret. He had pushed her away, and now her pain consumed him. He threw off the covers, getting out of bed to pace around the room, trying to escape the guilt that gripped him. But Yn's face remained, a constant reminder of his actions.
