Groggily, Yn opened her eyes, still hugging the soft pillow as if it were Taehyung. But as her gaze fell on the empty space beside her, she realized he wasn't there. She sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, and that's when she saw him. Taehyung emerged from the washroom, completely dressed and ready for the day. His face was cold, expressionless, as if nothing had happened between them yesterday.
Yn's heart skipped a beat as she called out to him, "Taehyung?" But he didn't respond, his eyes fixed on his reflection in the mirror. He was busy adjusting his tie, his movements precise and calculated.
She tried again, her voice shaking slightly, "Taehyung, where are you going?" This time, he turned slightly, his eyes flicking towards her before returning to his reflection.
"Office," he replied curtly, his voice devoid of warmth. "I have work."
Yn's mind reeled as she tried to process his response. Office? Work? What about their conversation yesterday? What about the love they had shared? Had it all been a lie?
She felt a sense of unease creeping up her spine as she watched Taehyung finish getting ready. He was treating her like a stranger, not like the woman he had held close and whispered sweet nothings to.As Yn tried to get out of bed, her body protested, her legs trembling beneath her. She felt a wave of soreness wash over her, making every movement a chore. She looked up, expecting to see Taehyung's warm smile, but instead, his cold expression greeted her.
Before she could react, Taehyung was beside her, his movements swift and precise. He scooped her up in his arms, his touch gentle yet detached. Yn felt a pang of confusion as he carried her towards the bathroom.
As they entered, Yn saw that Taehyung had prepared a warm water bath for her. The room was filled with steam, and the scent of essential oils wafted through the air. Taehyung gently placed her in the bathtub, his eyes never meeting hers.
Yn watched, mesmerized, as Taehyung's hands moved with precision, adding more oils to the water. He was taking care of her, yet his expression remained cold, his eyes distant.
As she settled into the warm water, Yn felt her muscles relax, the soreness easing. She closed her eyes, letting out a sigh of relief. But her mind was racing, trying to make sense of Taehyung's behavior.
Why was he being so cold? Had she done something wrong? The questions swirled in her mind, but she had no answers.
Taehyung's hands moved beneath the water, gently massaging her muscles. Yn felt a pang of pleasure, but it was tempered by the confusion and hurt she felt.
As she lay there, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of the bath, Yn couldn't help but feel a sense of disconnection. Taehyung's touch was gentle, yet distant. His eyes never met hers, his expression never softened.
Yn felt like she was living in a dream, a nightmare where nothing made sense. She was trapped in a cycle of confusion and hurt, with no escape in sight.
As the bath came to an end, Taehyung lifted her out, his movements precise and detached. He wrapped her in a towel, his eyes never meeting hers.
Yn felt like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty, with no lifeline to cling to. She was at Taehyung's mercy, and she had no idea what he would do next.Yn emerged from the closet, looking beautiful in her outfit, but her eyes were filled with concern. She approached Taehyung, who was sitting on the couch, rubbing his temple, his expression cold and detached.
"Taehyung, what's wrong?" Yn asked, sitting beside him.
But Taehyung remained silent, his eyes fixed on some point in front of him. Yn tried again, "Please tell me what's wrong."
Still, Taehyung didn't respond. Yn's eyes welled up with tears as she realized he was shutting her out.
She started to talk, her voice trembling, "Yesterday's gift was special for me, for us. It meant something."
Taehyung's expression didn't change, but Yn continued, "And you bit me so hard, it's still paining. Please don't do it again," she said playfully, trying to lighten the mood.
But Taehyung's cold demeanor didn't falter. Yn moved closer to him, her face inches from his, as if she was going to kiss him.
But just as she was about to touch her lips to his, Taehyung's cold voice stopped her, "Forget everything, it was just a mistake."
Yn's heart felt like it had been punched. A mistake? Was that all their love meant to him? She felt a wave of pain wash over her, threatening to engulf her.
Yn's eyes searched Taehyung's face, hoping to find some glimmer of warmth, some hint of love. But his expression remained cold, detached.
She felt like she was living in a nightmare, like everything was falling apart around her. Yn's mind reeled as she tried to process Taehyung's words.
A mistake? Was that all she was to him? Yn's heart shattered into a million pieces as she realized the truth. She was nothing to Taehyung, just a fleeting moment of pleasure.
Yn's tears fell silently as she sat beside Taehyung, her body numb with pain. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, with no lifeline to cling to.
