Days blurred together in a haze of uncertainty. Taehyung's anger and Yn's silence had created a chasm that seemed impossible to bridge. Mia struggled to keep the peace, but the tension was palpable. As the days turned into weeks, the weight of Yn's absence grew heavier. It had been a month since she left for India, and the distance felt like an eternity. Taehyung's words still lingered, a constant reminder of the hurt and resentment that had driven Yn away. The once-happy mansion now felt like a hollow shell, a testament to the shattered dreams and broken hearts within.
Taehyung's attempt to distract himself from Yn with the woman from the club had backfired. The encounter had left him feeling empty and guilty, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had betrayed Yn, even though they were apart. He stopped visiting the club, unable to face the reminders of his failed attempt to move on. The woman's face, once a welcome distraction, now haunted him, a symbol of his own weakness. Taehyung felt himself losing his grip on reality, consumed by thoughts of Yn and what could have been. His world was spiraling out of control.
Taehyung's days blended together in a haze of monotony. He worked tirelessly, his mind numb, his heart heavy. Every task was a distraction from the ache within. He avoided old habits, old haunts, and old friends, fearful of succumbing to his demons. The club, the parties, the women - all were off-limits. He was a robot, functioning on autopilot, trying to outrun his pain. But the emptiness lingered, a constant reminder of what he had lost. Yn's absence haunted him, a ghostly presence that followed him everywhere. He was trapped in a prison of his own making.
Taehyung's fingers trembled as he dialed James's number, his mind racing with conflicting emotions. He hated Yn for leaving, for abandoning him when he needed her most. But he couldn't deny the ache in his chest, the emptiness that had consumed him since her departure.
James answered on the fifth ring, his voice cautious. "Taehyung?"
"How is she?" Taehyung asked, his deep voice laced with a mix of anger and longing.
"She's doing well, sir," James replied, his tone measured. "Adjusting to her new life in India."
Taehyung's grip on the phone tightened. "I want to see her. Bring her to South Korea tomorrow."
James hesitated, confusion evident in his voice. "Taehyung , are you sure? You've been clear about not wanting to contact her after...what happened."
Taehyung's eyes narrowed. "I don't pay you to question me, James. Just bring her here. And remind her about the contract."
James's pause was palpable. "Which contract, Taehyung ?"
Taehyung's voice dripped with venom. "Don't play dumb, James. Just make sure she's on that plane tomorrow."
James decided not to push the issue. "Yes. I'll pass on the message and book the tickets."
Taehyung's voice softened slightly. "Make sure she's comfortable, James. I don't want any...issues."
"Of course,. I'll take care of it."
The line went dead, and Taehyung's gaze drifted to the window, his mind already racing with possibilities. What would Yn say when she saw him? Would she still hate him? The uncertainty was killing him.
James's eyes narrowed as he ended the call. What contract was Taehyung talking about? And why did he want Yn back in South Korea so suddenly? He pushed the thoughts aside and focused on booking the tickets. Tomorrow, he would find out what Taehyung had planned.
As James arrived at Yn's residence, he found her sitting by the window, lost in thought. "Yn, we need to talk," he said, his voice gentle.
Yn turned, her eyes questioning. "What is it, James?"
"Taehyung wants to see you," James said, his tone neutral. "He's asking you to come to South Korea tomorrow."
Yn's expression turned guarded. "Why?
James hesitated. "He mentioned something about a contract, but I don't know what he's talking about."
Yn's eyes narrowed, a flicker of fear dancing in their depths. "I'll go," she said finally. "
James nodded, his mind racing with possibilities. What had Taehyung planned? And what contract was he talking about? He pushed the thoughts aside and focused on preparing Yn for her departure. Tomorrow, they would face whatever Taehyung had in store for them.
